For Christmas I bought some gifts for friends and some "Mexico" oriented items, the price is a little high but you can't get this stuff like this anywhere else in the city with the quality it has. They also have some pretty awesome chocolate tamales which were pretty dang good! It's in the Lamar Park Shopping Center, go support local businesses!"

"Cute boutique shop in the town of Rockport. Jewelry, clothing, home decor items. Super cute kids clothing, hand crafted items and lots of beach themed items. The ladies there were really nice and interacting with all the clients. Everything I looked at was super cute! Those ladies sure know how to buy for the store! If you walk to the back of the store, there's an awesome little wine bar (room) in the back. It, too, was set up and decorated super cute. When visiting Rockport, be sure to put The Coastal Mercantile on your must stop at shopping list!"

If you are a Fiesta Ware collector and you have never heard about this place, it is because it was built after hurricane Harvey. The owner of this store has a secondary location that I believe is in Fredericksburg Texas."

"I had a great experience here; this is the only "boutique" shop I've visited in the area and I'm not aware of any others around. The owner was nice and helpful; I was searching for a gift and she took care of me. This is a good shop if you're looking for high end candles, nice insulated cups/wine glasses/carafes, jewelry, soaps, etc. I was not in the market for antique furniture but there was a good amount of it for sale in the store. It requires some looking as it's used for displays, which I think adds to the charm of the shop. I will definitely be back."

"This is a nice little shop nestled in a local retail area near the water. I was actually impressed with the offerings. This was not your average souvenir shop that you find all over the area. There were so many items that I have never seen before any where else inside this single-story retail shop. There were a lot of artisan made craft items from around the country made of food, soap, jewelry, glass, you name it. They actually make a point of not having anything made in China at their shop. They also offer a few charitable items to benefit some worthwhile non-profits. For such a small retail space, they certainly had a lot of intriguing and interesting items that were well merchandised within that space. If you find yourself walking along Austin Street with their line of retail shops, this place is definitely worth stopping in to see."

"This is a really neat furniture store. Everything in their showroom is unique....you will not find any of the pieces anywhere in town! Prices are EXCELLENT. Most everything they have can be special ordered and the prices for a special order piece are suprisingly cheap! My mother built a new house and replaced all of her furniture in it with pieces from this store. Custom barstools, sectional sofas, bedroom sets, leather recliners, console tables, rugs...even lamps! The staff is extremely helpful. The hours the showroom is open is very limited (check their site), but you can make an appointment to shop the showroom with just the staff. They also do interior decorating consultations at your home for a small fee (under $100). I highly recommend this place....special order furniture, or buy off the floor!"
