"Museum of Junk! Everything's for sale. What's not negotiable in this world? This is a place to buy the most random, eclectic stuff in Aransas County. This Busted Pot Junk Museum has free admission, and when I went, they were offering free water or beer! Rockin'This place is not only a place to get your home outfitted, it also has lots of mattresses available. Need a place to lay down at night? They'll sell you a brand-new mattress, still in the original wrapping. They have great prices on a lot of really weird stuff. My favorite stuff is their collection of yard art- life sized lions, tigers and bears- Oh my! They've got naked mermaid statues perched on top of a triad of seahorses. They've even gone and snagged some of the flotsam that washed up after hurricanes from the oil rigs- weird contraptions that washed up to sea. Need rocks for the rock collection? They have a bunch of petrified wood for sale! The staff is friendly, and most prices are clearly marked. Parking is easy, and it has sort of a relaxed party atmosphere here! Check it out!"

"Please..for the love of god do not use this company!!!! I have chronic back pain and purchased a mattress in hopes of helping my pain.. upon delivery the mattress was not the bel o pedic I had looked at in the store, it was an American west which I found out is who makes the bel o Pedic... so why not just sale American west in store instead of these "bel o pedic" which seems like false advertising to me. I was then conned into buying a $20 mattress protector from them for a price of $279.99 in order to qualify for their 180 days no questions asked guarantee... when in fact their were MANY questions being asked, arguing, asking for measurements, all sorts of things... I got transferred from one manager to the next all the way to regional managers etc... I was told I'd be contacted back multiple times as we were not using the mattress at all and sleeping on the couch and floor... never received a call back... my 30 days is up on the 24th of this month and I will be returning to bel to select a new mattress only to be told that I will have to pay the redelivery fee... I think after forcing someone to keep a mattress and suffer sleeping elsewhere for 30 days they should not be allowed to charge you these fees. Also I was told it's a one time exchange and you must purchase equal or greater value... please please please do yourself a favor and go to a reputable mattress company! This is the worst customer service I have ever received after spending nearly $2000 on a mattress. When you call them they say they are the manager when in fact they were only the asst manager... Do not give this company business, absolutely horrible! If I could give negative stats I def would.."

"Nightmare! Came to Chubbys as a convenience (by my house in Calallen) & just because I've seen them advertised. Bought 2 twin mattresses. Before I bought I asked the sales woman their return fee if I were to need it. Somehow my question never got answered during conversation. After purchasing and signing I get home and read the fine print. No intention of returning until I slept on it and found that foam was quite uncomfortable. Called to return and told them about not being informed of the return policy. They were sympathetic and waived the 15% restocking fee. Purchased another set more expensive and one mattress did not fit after measuring. Not opened or touched I brought it back and got one that fit that was $100 less. Instead of letting me pick out something to equal $100 in the store, they removed the original promise of waiving the first restocking fee as a courtesy from the employee's folly and charging me with this new restocking fee, which came to around $100. Basically now they've found a place for my money.........and I've got to go into town to get this mattress. Picking it up, full time job, mother of two babies, now this is no longer a convenience and seems out of spite from the district manager. Lesson learned. Denver mattress is the place to go. Word of mouth goes a long way. Warning everyone to go somewhere else. Chubbys is shallow!"

"This is a really neat furniture store. Everything in their showroom is unique....you will not find any of the pieces anywhere in town! Prices are EXCELLENT. Most everything they have can be special ordered and the prices for a special order piece are suprisingly cheap! My mother built a new house and replaced all of her furniture in it with pieces from this store. Custom barstools, sectional sofas, bedroom sets, leather recliners, console tables, rugs...even lamps! The staff is extremely helpful. The hours the showroom is open is very limited (check their site), but you can make an appointment to shop the showroom with just the staff. They also do interior decorating consultations at your home for a small fee (under $100). I highly recommend this place....special order furniture, or buy off the floor!"
