"i love fuegos - it was my go-to spot in college station when i was in college. i always get the el presidente or southern comfort tacos. the el presidente is packed with chargrilled chicken, smoked bacon, fried avocado, pico de gallo, jack cheese, and chipotle ranch - seriously, it's life-changing. the southern comfort is hand-breaded fried chicken with chipotle cream corn, crispy potatoes, grilled onions, and fresh country pepper gravy - so flavorful. the portions are huge, so i always wish i could order and eat both! you order at the counter, and they bring the food out fast - super easy. it's been too long since i've had it, and i'm so happy they have one in san marcos - the perfect place to eat after shopping at the outlet malls!"

"First time here and it was delicious. You can order at the counter or at a kiosk and it's very user friendly. The food came out within maybe 10 minutes, super quick. "Solid fast food burger restaurant! I've been in Texas on Vacation for a few days and had noticed these P. Terry's signs all over. I'm not from around here so I was intrigued... never saw or heard of a P Terry's. The signs are pretty cool.... Reminds me of the "futuristic" cartoon "The Jetsons" from the 70's. Today is my last day in Texas, so on my way to the airport I decided to check the place out! Super friendly service, including hello's and good bye's from the staff. Place was really clean, including the bathrooms. Loved the fries, remind me of Five Guy's, only thinner (which I love) and even tastier. Fries would definitely bring me back.The burger was made fresh and had good flavor. Didn't try the Banana Bread, and now I'm kinda kicking myself! Only improvements I would like is.... get rid of the ketchup packets and get a pump, and maybe also offer mayo. See you next time I'm in Texas!"

"I was excited that Shake Shack decided to open up in my area. So, we went to try them out. There was a pretty hectic energy when we arrived. But, our order was ready and service by the staff was efficient. It was pretty clean inside this spot. They also had two drive thru lanes, which reminded me a lot of Chick-fil-A. We saw on their website that they had a July BOGO deal for their milkshakes if you sign up on their Shake Shack app and order between 2-5 pm. Here's a breakdown of what we ordered: Triple chocolate brownie shake: very chocolatey and lots of chocolate chips. Very sweet. If you have a sweet tooth and love chocolate, this is your jam. Cookies and Cream Shake: Love this! It was creamy and not too sweet. If you love Oreo cookies minus the very sweet filling, this drink is it. I would definitely order this again! Strawberry shake: It was pretty sweet, but it was creamy and had a nice strawberry flavor. Smoke shack: Delicious, but a bit salty from the cherry peppers. ShackBurger: Beefy and fresh. To be fair, I also ate the classic Smash Burger on the same night for comparison. Shake Shack has a good quality, aromatic beef patty and their potato bun is pillowy soft. But, man are their burgers small compared to Smash Burger. If you're really hungry, the ShackBurger would be like eating more of a snack. 'Shroom Burger: my sis said it was heavy for a mushroom burger. It was meaty because it was a portobello mushroom and the cheese was tasty. If you're a vegetarian, this would be a good option for you. My sis loves beef, so she'd rather eat the beef burger next time. Overall, Shake Shack is a great addition to the SL area. We will be back to try their other milkshakes, burgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, and soda floats. Come check out this Shake Shack location if you're in the SL area."

"Jalapenos Pizza and Wings was one of the few places that deliver in Laredo, I had a taste for pizza and wings that at least had good reviews. I saw the reviews after I has ordered, which is not my normal way; especially if I have never tried the food. I ordered a medium bbg chicken pizza with a 8 piece side of wings. I was told the order would take 45 minutes to 1 hour, however the driver arrived in about 40 minutes. The driver was friendly and my pizza was above average hot. Here is my verdict from both:Pizza: The medium Pizza ($13.99) was not bad. Fully baked and included all my toppings I requested. For sure it was not the best pizza that I have ever tasted, but overall I would give it at least 3 stars for preparation, toppings and serving size. Mind you, there are cheaper chain alternatives here in Laredo.Wings: The wings were to me were not cooked/fried to my liking. I prefer crispy wings compared to somewhat of a boiled texture. I understand some like the meat softer, but U prefer my wings battered and also have the sauce flavor applied. If they would have prepared them in that manner, U for sure would giving a higher rating. Bottom line verdict: 2 starsConclusion: I would be willing to give this location another try. The pizza was ok, but I will probably not order anymore wings. For $7.99 For 8 pieces is not a good value and are overpriced in my opinion."

"Burger restaurants are a dime a dozen in San Antonio, and there all about the same. Best Burger can be lumped in with this unassuming and vaguely interesting group of quick pick-up stops. We come here for the $9.99 special when we want a cheap dinner, but it isn't quick any means. We usually wait about 20 minutes for the burgers, which are freshly made when you order. Fresh is good, cheap is good, but the wait means we're rare visitors (and by rare I mean we live down the street and have only come twice this year.)The burgers are big and greasy, toppings are squished in there, and the meat patty is decent. Tastes like your Dad made them in the backyard, but he isn't a gourmet chef. Sometimes you just want though, you know? On the plus side, service is always decent and hard-working. It's not like they're not back there whipping up your orders! So good , that we ended up ordering their burgers. The Pink Cadillac ($13) was my choice- fresh ground beef patty with pickled onions, guacamole, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and sans cheese for me. Deelish. Lots of flavor and not overly salty. With an order of hand cut fries ($5). Nice outer crisp. At the condiment station besides the usual ketchup, they offered chipotle mayo and serrano ketchup. I enjoyed dipping my fries into both. They make chocolate chips cookies fresh too. Maybe next time, I was super full after the burger and fries. Service was awesome. The most friendliest young gentleman behind the counter helped us with our order. The menudo, well one the better ones I've had, and guess what it was spicy! Like it should be! The carne guisada was also above average. If you come here I recommend getting the corn tortillas instead of flour. You will thank me! Also if you love spice like we do, ask your waitress for the spicy sauce, the real spicy sauce. She will bring to you only if you ask. The waitresses have always been awesome and the coffee was great. Not very many negatives, at least to mention. I wish places like these were given more notoriety when it comes to best of lists. These restaurants, local and loved, far exceed some of the places on the "supposed best of list". Maybe because we don't vote. My friends taco taco cafe is not it. It's not even on my top 100.
