So she left us on hold for over 30 mins and hung up on us. Then we called the restaurant there was no answer even though we know they are still open.So then we called the 800 number all they did was take our info. So useless!!!!"

"Jalapenos Pizza and Wings was one of the few places that deliver in Laredo, I had a taste for pizza and wings that at least had good reviews. I saw the reviews after I has ordered, which is not my normal way; especially if I have never tried the food. I ordered a medium bbg chicken pizza with a 8 piece side of wings. I was told the order would take 45 minutes to 1 hour, however the driver arrived in about 40 minutes. The driver was friendly and my pizza was above average hot. Here is my verdict from both:Pizza: The medium Pizza ($13.99) was not bad. Fully baked and included all my toppings I requested. For sure it was not the best pizza that I have ever tasted, but overall I would give it at least 3 stars for preparation, toppings and serving size. Mind you, there are cheaper chain alternatives here in Laredo.Wings: The wings were to me were not cooked/fried to my liking. I prefer crispy wings compared to somewhat of a boiled texture. I understand some like the meat softer, but U prefer my wings battered and also have the sauce flavor applied. If they would have prepared them in that manner, U for sure would giving a higher rating. Bottom line verdict: 2 starsConclusion: I would be willing to give this location another try. The pizza was ok, but I will probably not order anymore wings. For $7.99 For 8 pieces is not a good value and are overpriced in my opinion."

I hope this place makes it, but I don't love their location."

"When I go out of town for extended periods and I find "that" local pizza place to get me through the time off, I get giddy like a young boy at his first school dance. Apparently this establishment is a chain with locations even in my home area, but I had never heard of it. They offer some unusual "Latin" combo pizzas as well as their "classics."I ordered a Create Your Own Pizza with Canadian bacon, black olives, onions, mushrooms and jalapeños. This is usually my trial run combo at any new pizza place. You can order through the app or Door Dash. The pizza arrived on time, and the delivery service was fast and friendly. It arrived hot and fresh. Upon opening the box, its beauty overwhelmed me. Fresh vegetables as well as generous helpings of Canadian bacon impressed me and were a sight to see. Visually, I was already hooked. The pizza tasted even better than it looked. Every bite was full of delicious sauce, cheese, and ample toppings. I could not get enough of this pizza! When the pizza was done for the night, it was a sad moment. I needed some sort of consolation. All in all, this is one of the best local delivery pizzas I have ever had. I can see already the love/hate relationship in its early stages. If you are looking for delicious, well-priced pizza while in Laredo, this is the place."

They realize that I am visually impaired/blind but I have great perrefreal vision. So with every order you get a survey code. They know this. Well the manager rang me up a d kept the first receipt (which had the survey code) printed another receipt and gave me the second receipt without the survey. I ordered two orders so I should have gotten 2, but she kept them. They figure we do not know how it works but I worked in fast food. This burns me up because as she walked away i noticed they didn't have surveys so before I could ask for the first receipts she threw them in the trash. It is not my fault your store gets crapoy surveys and you do not want people doing but they are there as a teaching tool. And this is a manager doing it. Very sad.I actually would have given them a great job but because they cheated me. Well that is not right. Will be calling for a corporate number or something because I'm sure corporate doesn't know they are doing that.Very shady bunch of employees."

The place was small--12-20 tables--and empty, which was good for us but too bad for the owner. Each of us ordered a different hamburger--so many delicious sounding options to choose from! I got the BBQ Chipotle burger with thick cut bacon, fresh sautéed mushrooms & onions and melted cheese, topped with a sweet and smoky sauce. Loved the bun, which had the restaurant's logo toasted onto the top! The burger was accompanied by flavorful Parmesan fries and a pickle wedge. Our meals were generous enough that half of us could not finish our food. The owner/cook was very friendly. He said he also has a food truck and will do catering. Although they do not sell alcohol, he said you can bring your own beer. (The bathrooms were clean and the ladies room had a changing table.)"

My wife ordered the Original Fatburger and chocolate shake.Service was good, employees friendly. Once ordered at the counter, we took our number sign and sat down. The place was pretty busy and it took about 5+ minutes before our shakes arrived. Took another 10 minutes before our food arrived...again, they were busy and they cook to order. Lots of take outs as well.The shakes are perfection. Just like you would make them at home. Thick and delicious without being overdone with the chocolate. Just as I remembered them (22 years ago!!!!). The burgers were great as well. Fresh veggies and a smashed patty that was larger than the bun. My wife forgot about the sweet relish that comes standard (she isn't a fan of relish on burgers), but that can be omitted next time. The onion rings were piping hot (really hot), crunchy and seasoned well. I deducted a star due to the rings being somewhat greasy. Maybe the oil dropped in temp? I should have drained them on paper napkins, which were plentiful.A side note: the place is loud, so no soft conversations.All in all, this Cheat Day Meal was satisfying and brought back some good memories of SoCal...before Cali went totally off the rails.
