"We attended a send off for bride and groom! This place was nice to chill. We otdered Casa Azup shots. The food was ok."
"If you like seafood eat here. There are SO many options you are sure to find something you like. I rarely post on a first visit but I am not likely to return to Edna any time soon. I almost didn't come here because I didn't think the posted pictures were very appealing. But against my judgement I came and I must say I enjoyed my visit. I ordered the lunch special of grilled flounder with came with dirty rice and staemed veggies. You also get a choice of salad or coleslaw. I like to try different coleslaws and found this one to be drowning in mayo. I posted my own photos that show the spices in which the fish is grilled. It was almost too salty, but I ate it with lemon and/or coleslaw. The rice has meat in it-ground beef. The veggies were perfectly steamed. I do recommend this restaurant. I came on a cold day at lunchtime. The locals do seem to enjoy this place and for good reason. The servers are friendly and helpful and aren't afraid to make recommendations or confirm with the cook if they don't have an answer as to how something is cooked."

"The food was absolutely amazing!!! It was packed on a rainy day at lunchtime on a Tuesday. The overall vibe was great music selection was good and servers were great too! Great spot to take friends visiting from another town!!!!!"
"Their burgers are excellent! The food is always hot and fresh. Everything we have had is always very good. The severs are always nice. Normally the owners are there and they too are very nice and welcoming. Even the patrons are friendly when you walk in. We like going to small businesses, especially owned by a veteran"
"The pizza was really good and friendly staff! We will definitely be back during football season - good watching location!"
"Awesome place. Employees are super kind and helpful. Food was yummy!! We will be back every time we come they Cuero"
"First time there and best burger I've ever had. It was called a Knolle melt burger. It had panela cheese, caramelized onions, thousand island dressing on Texas toast and we had there garlic fries which also highly recommended. Go and try , you won't be disappointed"
"Food great service great, -exceptional. Our waitress ckd on us Kept drinks filled, brought extra crackers for one lil guy that decided he loves saltines... We had mix of I think all they had to offer that was great as usual & their boidain is excellent... I usually don't even like!!!"
"I have only been here once but it was a great experience. I did the wine tasting and it was very nice. I love their sweet red wine."
"I admit I am very picky about y QUE. I decided to give Ballhoggs a try after seeing the owner on the local news. First problem, GPS could not locate it. 2nd problem, the inside is dusty. Lots of stuff in the front of house that could use a good dusting and straightening up. But, the food was the reason I drove across town and it was good. I took my 2 meat plate to go so I could enjoy while binging a program. The brisket was falling apart tender and moist or just the way I like it, crusty with a little fat. Ribs were tender. The baked beans were just a little sweet and the potato salad was seasoned just right. I would post a photo but I ate first. All in all a good value and taste for my dollar."
"Came in and were immediately serviced. Cute little spot, nice ambience to it. Got street tacos and tostado tinga. It was delicious and the price was very reasonable. Their salsa are all packed with flavor. Recommend to all who enjoy a nice street taco"
"We visited several times in the past month. Good food, large portions, fair prices, cold beer, fun atmosphere, clean restrooms and good service! They don't allow smoking inside in the bar so that's a big plus when it comes to dining. Things we tried...cheeseburger (large and delicious), loaded fries (one of our faves! Crinkle cut crispy fries loaded with queso and bacon bits), Buffalo wings (perfectly fried large wing potions doused in Buffalo sauce), fried fish (delicious large filets), shrimp tacos (3 tacos served with a side of chips and queso. Good meal if you're looking to not be over stuffed), club sandwich (fresh and huge!), fried calamari (perfectly cooked and not chewy), fried mushrooms (pretty much the only thing we didn't love...they're sliced, not whole and smaller portion than anticipated). On Saturday evening they serve shrimp and crab boils. The combo is $50 and comes with a great amount of large shrimp and 2 large Dungeness crab clusters, 2 corns, 2 sausages and a couple small potatoes. It's really good...my ONLY complaint is the corn is very over cooked (we tried it 2 different weekends. Both times the corn is over cooked and basically inedible). If the corn was cooked as good as the other stuff, I'd have given 5 stars."

They have a few selection of items to snack on, but well worth it. Drinks are good and the atmosphere is awesome on nice weather days

Being new to Edna I wasn't aware of where to eat but lucked into a grilled catfish and shrimp dinner situation at Edna's Seafood Restaurant, which luckily had late opening hours allowing me to blow in at 815pm. The food was so fresh, flavorful and amazing I got a second go round for takeout the day I departed. Five stars to Edna Seafood!

I tried birria tacos for the first time here & I was not disappointed! For starters everything was very warm, almost hot, which seems like a given but eating food you know was just freshly cooked makes a big difference. I loved the tacos & the red hot sauce that came with them was excellent. My mom ordered the carne asada fries & they were SO good. I would call these a must try for my French fry lovers. Pretty large bowl loaded with cheese, plenty of meat, and all the toppings. I really appreciate that because it's a pet peeve for me when nachos/loaded fries end up with dry fries. There were no dry fries in this bowl! :) The prices were reasonable & food was great. I'll definitely be coming back!

Good food, good service, great dessert. All food is homemade, give it a try. Don't let the fact that it's a biker bar, very clean and safe. Karaoke on Thursday and Friday.

Terrible. Service was slow. Wings were over sauced. But worst of all....automatically added an 18% gratuity to a party of 7?!? 6 adults and a 13 year old. No where on a menu or anywhere was that communicated before I sat down. Never coming back.

If you are coming here for Wings, beer, solid atmosphere, you will not leave disappointed. BEST wings in town, if anyone says otherwise they are lying. Fried Mushrooms are amazing, awesome beer selection. No problem ever with service either. My Go-To spot for some good wings & beer

Watch yourself at the boiling pot cuz the seafood is coming in hot hot hot! One of my favorite restaurants when I visited Texas. It was a banger. The only disappointment was oysters weren't in season during this time. So they had none! I heard it's a must try! To start off, the ambience was nice. Decor all around filled with lights. It felt like a nice and cozy atmosphere. We ordered one of the combos to share and it came with complimentary bread and butter. I don't recall the sauce but it was their specialty sauce. From the crawfish, to the crab and the sides everything tasted fresh! You even get a hammer, crab cracker and tools to help you dominate the eating floor. They have a wide variety of brews and service was great. My only complaint is that I would prefer the boil in a bowl opposed to the table. I feel like it would retain more sauce. But for the first experience, it doesn't hurt to see them pour the seafood for the gram on the table lol. Would come back if ever in the area.

"My wife and I heard about a new restaurant in Frydek named Ermis' at Frydek. We ate there twice in the same week - once for lunch and once for dinner. The proprietors opened the place in an existing older building in the little town. There is an inside, sit-down restaurant and plentiful covered outdoor seating. The inside was very clean and nicely set up for a casual meal. The outside is also nicely set up and would be a great place for live music, which the waitress advised happens on weekends. The menu is simple and straightforward, offering a variety of burgers, wings and pizza. It also has complete entrees, salads and a variety of appetizers. There was beer and wine available, as well as the usual soft drinks and tea.We had fried pickles, a grilled chicken sandwich, a Cobb salad, fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Everything appeared homemade and was served promptly and hot.The service both times was excellent. If you are ever in Frydek (a few miles SE of Sealy), you would do well to swing in for a meal, a beer and maybe even some live music.Highly recommend."
"We only did apps but everything was good. On a 5 scale, raw oysters - 5, boiled shrimp - 4, crab claws - 4, clams - 5. The only complaint was charging extra for two small pieces of additional bread when there were only two small pieces on the original order with a table for 5 people. Not cool on a $200+ tab."
"Great atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and food/ drinks are good and well priced. Definitely a must visit if you're in town!"
"Love love love Mity Mite's! The owner Michael is so friendly and the bar is full of history. The staff is so kind and the drinks are great! Definitely stop by and say hi if you're a local or visiting firm out of town!"
"Extremely friendly and attentive staff (which is hard to find now days). The burgers were amazing and the beer was cold. Clean, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back many times!"
"This is a "must visit" restaurant every time I'm in Victoria. On this last visit, it was obvious that it is growing in popularity. The salsa and chips are fresh and delicious. They have a cilantro-heavy salsa verde which is probably one of the most flavorful salsas that I have ever had (and I've had a few!) The menu runs the full gamut. They have just about every combination you can imagine and I always seem to revert to the one with a taco, enchilada and tostada. This is just good simple Mexican food. No frills....just exactly what it should be."
"You wouldn't believe it but they have the best nachos in town! I also love their Greek salad. Waitress are also sweet and attentive. If you come during a cowboys game make sure you sit outside unless it's your team! it's loud and packed with cowboy fans!"
"Ate here last night 8/1/2020 as well as breakfast the same day. VERY VERY good authentic Mexican food! I had the Chimichanga. This is not a true Chimichanga, as that is a flour tortilla, rolled and fried. This is more like a large Enchilada but BOY was it tasty!! Definitely recommend it!! Breakfast was eggs and Chorizo, VERY tasty as well!!!"
"I'm so glad we stopped. So many burger choices with high ratings but we chose this because of the casual ambience and not so "commercial" feel. I'm so glad we did. This was one of the best tasting burgers ever. Fresh, flavorful and not over done. I sat there and felt, this is what America is about. Friendly service, welcoming and great tasting food to fill our tummies."
"Fast and friendly service, delicious food and a nice dog friendly patio! As other reviewers have said the beans are the bomb. The Dip Belicon (Queso) seemed expensive at $13.99 but it was every bit worth it - the server recommended stirring it up before digging in, and she was right. There's all kinds of deliciousness below the surface. The Birria taco was very good. I'm glad we stumbled on this place, and will definitely be returning. We understand there is also a location in McAllen that has been open 3 years or so."
"Great new brewery on the bluff. Great beer, great food truck, amazing staff. The owners are on usually site and super friendly. The Small craft advisory is a double black ipa that's very flavorful, mild coffee notes with 9.0%abvThe Balltoberfest is very smooth light crisp and refreshing 5.6% abvThe food truck out front wasn't open, but I heard the food is great."
"This was my first time going to Shore Cafe. The coffee is delicious and the ladies are so kind and definitely work their butt off. I went back a second day and it was as packed as the first. It's a Great spot to grab a quick simple bite, a delicious coffee or smoothie. They also have some sliced packages of pastries and cakes available at the counter and beer to go. Cute patio to relax on a nice day. Go check it out!"
"I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. You literally can't go wrong. I could probably make a meal off of just their appetizers. I've literally never had fried mushrooms at a restaurant that were Portabella. These are to die for but the star of the appetizer menu to me are the fried pickled okra. they are coated in a perfect , cornmeal batter and served with homemade ranch dressing. Now onto the main courses. The burgers are all phenomenal. I have tried three or four of them no matter which one you get, order it Bob's way, which comes with fried onion strings. I usually can't finish a whole burger, but here I make myself finish the burger. No morsel is wasted.I recently tried one of their hotdogs, and I can say it won't be my last. Last but not least, their sides with the burgers cannot be beat. I know it sounds weird to say, but I am not much of a french fry person. Here I want to eat all of them. Their onion rings are equally delicious and their sweet potato chips are unlike anything I've ever gotten of the sweet potato family. Everything is perfectly fried and everything goes good with their homemade ranch. Our girl Wimpy works here and provides the best service to everyone who enters some of us even get a hug when we leave"
"Only been for breakfast, twice already, tacos are ginormous, ordered 3 because normally cheap tacos are tiny, way wrong. I ate 1 1/2 tacos and I was stuffed. Chips and salsa are pretty good too. If nearby check them out pretty good."
"First time trying and had a nice evening. Ordered several appetizers to try. In order of favorites:1) Bacon - fantastic, sweet, salty and oh so yummy.2) Deviled eggs - be sure to eat them with the pickled onions in the middle of the plate, adds an entire extra layer of flavor3) Fried Green Tomatoes - great batter, good fry on it and very savory4) Nachos - little too much refied beans but good flavorNice interior and great staff. Even tried our hand at their Tuesday night - #wrongestanswers"
"Walked around the Strand and found this place. Got some food and a couple of drinks. We will come back for sure."
"Great Philly cheesesteak and fries. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a great meal on the island. Fun little spot."
"Bar That many locals hang around during lunch. They have a vibe that makes you feel you've stepped it into a 90s house party when you enter. They have couches tables and many old school games like Nintendo. They also have a small menu and lots of beer OptionsI got for the pizza! It's great! Hours can be hit or miss, and I feel prices could be better so I'm going with 4 stars instead of 5 but otherwise I think it's a cool hang out on a strip filled with other hangouts for a night of bar hopping."
"Great little home town bar!!! Love all the staff. Nice cold beer and you can bring in your own bottle!"
"This place is delicious made to order...the staff is super sweet it was pretty empty when I went mind you I went on Friday like at 3...it is a little warm in there but food is delicious we got the cheese curds the corn curds hot dog and burgers all very good all fresh I didn't take a picture of the appetizer just my burger but man great food:) deffiently if your in the mood for a burger this is the place"
"Absolutely LOVE this place! Tried it for the first time and was impressed. Had the Choriqueso dip which was delicious. The hubby had the Cuban sandwich with a side Caesar and it was so good! Bread was soft, sandwich was large and salad crisp. One of the best Cubans I've had. I had the steak, eggs and waffle which was good but next time I'm getting the Cuban lol. Drinks were on point and reasonably priced. They have great M-F drink specials and their Happy Hour menu looked awesome! The best part was our bartender, Joe, who made us feel welcome and did a phenomenal job! Joey came by and welcomed us and was very friendly. We're moving to the area and I strongly recommend this place. It's small but mighty!"
"The service was super amazing- little unexpected things made for a wow experience. The options for food and drink are huge! The taste of everything was spot on!"
