By The Book Bookstore

My wife and I found some cool gifts for our son and daughter-in-law. He got a coffee cup with a teacher nutritional fact chart on its side....and she got a when in doubt go to the library t shirt...appropriate for a librarian. The have books for big people and kids, scrubs for nurses, toys and all kinds of gifts, a giant chess set and stuffed animals. Doesn't hurt to be located in the same building as a cool classic diner.

this place is not open. yelp said it closed at 5, and google said it closed at 3pm. when i called to clarify, it went straight to voicemail. the mailbox in front of the store looked like it had not been checked in months. not sure when it closed, but hopefully this saves at least one person the effort of a drive into town. it looks like it used to be a really great store!

I know it is hard to remember when there were a lot of bookstores in the world and Amazon did not rule, but this is a real gem! It is locally owned and operated and full of book lovers! There is a real charm and authentic nature about it. Honestly it has been years since I was just standing browsing in a book store and it was great. I hope you take a few minutes to stop in and check it out and maybe have lunch next door at Sandi's Diner.

This Business still owes us a Miller H. S. commemorative yearbook. The Business called to advise the yearbook was ready for pickup, then closed. Will not return calls or any communications. We were going to donate the signed yearbook to the high school. Oh well the road to hell is paved with good intentions and our money.

Great place to hang out and read books on the patio. Not to mention the broad selection of books, including children books for the little ones. They also have great gifts. You get lost in all of the classics available.
