Buddy's Place

Alright, Well if you are from the area than you know the place. The smoke is so thick here you could cut it with a spork and then soft serve it to your friends! Its a small dive-y bar with a pool tables in the back, some dart boards, a decent sized dance floor and karaoke and juke boxes. Drinks are affordable and they have damned good waitresses who always have a smile and whose service is quick and friendly. Its a suburban corpus melting pot with everyone from cowboys, trailer trash, locals, and passer throughs, neighbors, friends and family. Open pretty much all the time and I can say with an assurance you can always find a good time at Buddy's place. Every time I go I always get caught up in a conversation with a friendly patron, kick back a few beers, dance with a yesteryear beauty queen and pick up a few laughs on the way out. Side note - the lady who does the karaoke isn't your run of the mill Karaoke queen, she actually pays attention to the audio and will augment the sound so your voice comes in a clear as possible and mixed with the music! Just sayin! So If you are into small town country bars then buddy's is gonna find a small place in your heart. . Tip the waitresses because they work hard and just have a good time.

It a nice place to kick back after a long day and enjoy a beer or two. The owner is a very nice woman.
