My dog has been a member of Bruno's first at Southside location then the bluff location. My dog has just turned 2 and was going most everyday. I like the ladies that work there but there seems to be lack of attention in the outside play area. About 4 weeks ago my dog came home from doggie daycare and in the middle of the night started trying to throw up, gagging g finally a green scrubby line for dishes us what came up with dirt and leaves.I brought this to the facility and they took the contents and said they would speak to the owner. Fast forward.. my dog boarded last Thursday night, picked him up Friday afternoon, ha acted like he was starving.. ate and ate. Around 2:30 I woke up to him heaving having trouble getting something up!!! A sandwich size zip lock bag came up and a bunch of garbage??? I don't think there are enough people watching the dogs outside. Again I took the contents and they took pictures, I asked for the Manager to call but that didn't happen. I called this morning to tell them he would not be returning at the Vet's advice. I had just paid $350.00 for this month, he attended two days, no refund was offered. I would like the names of the owners to speak to them directly. I started looking for a new daycare and found that nobody else lets dogs out in packs due to possible incidents that could happen. I think I'd rather have him separated than lose him due to inattentive people watching him. Hopefully the owners read these reviews!!!

Sadly, we won't be returning. Our pup made good friends here; however, the owner chose to breach the contract when we gave notice to decrease the days we would be bringing our Gigi. We gave the notice during the stipulated time given in the contract. I've just seen we were charged for the full month rather than the plan I requested. The absolute stupidity of someone who would wager a one time $40 over years of income baffles me. But she did it. Unfortunately for the owner, I'm married my attorney and will be offering a demand shortly and perhaps filing suit.

Years ago I brought my dod here it was great. Today as I was waiting outside with some friends, as I recommended Dr. G who is fantastic. I was in the parking lot looking at the dogs at Brunos bot even near the fence and was talked to very rude by the manager Amber. There was no reason for her to talk to me the was she did. I always bragged on Brunos and recommended the place. You lost me for good. Thanks for you nasty behavior.

We are so happy with the care and service we received today @ Bruno's. The grooming is spot on exactly what we wanted. Our babies are happy, clean, and comfortable. You can tell these people really care about dogs. They recognize my dog when he comes in and that surprises me the most!! I'm sure they see 100s of dogs but they still know mine when I come in for the 2nd or 3rd time. They are very respectful and make sure he isn't socialized (he is a very submissive/shy dog) and treat him gently. He also always comes out dry and smelling like baby powder, a favorite!! I've never had a bad experience with Bruno's and I will continue to take my pet here while I'm living in Corpus. Thank you Bruno's! Chuck and I are very grateful for yalls love and passion for dogs.

Not to be confused with Dr.Watson next door , who is excellent.My Pug absolutely hates to have his nails trimmed, as it frightens him. When I stopped by last Friday, he recognized the front desk and where I was taking him. He slipped his collar and ran for the street, with me in hot pursuit.When I returned with him, he was absolutely shaking. The girl working the front desk was annoyed and quickly took him to the back.While sitting in the lobby, I heard her reprimanding him for peeing ( he is housebroken, so it was because he was frightened).Upon paying for the nail grinding, the desk receptionist was very irritated with him. He is an excellent, loving dog who doesn't have a mean bone in his body.I shall never take my pup to this establishment again. Whomever owns the shop should take notice of the poor attitude of the desk personnel or more business shall be lost.

Great prices and great service... they do a good job keeping your pups safe while they are socializing. I definitely would recommend going here. They also have an animal clinic in the same building.

I refuse to select a rating for this place at this time. Let me tell you, I have been taking my 2 pets there and I will say they are not the best of trained, but hey who is?? But they are trained enough to get groomed there.(use2) I was 10 minutes late for my appointment today and they told me they would not groom my dog due to being late. Then that very RUDE OPERATIONS MANAGER AMBER started speaking to me and told me that they called me last night and called me a few minutes ago to let me know that they canceled my appointment for being late, on the phone as I was standing outside with my dogs as she was in there with another client at the time. I took my dogs home and then returned to speak to the young lady that was on the phone and then once again that RUDE OPS MANAGER butted in again. You know I have 2 dogs, spend about 2-350 BUCKS, THEN TIP AND THEN GO GET YOU ALL 2 LARGE MONA LISA PIZZA FROM YOU KNOW NY STYLE PIZZA BECAUSE YOU ALL COMPLAIN YOU ALL DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR LUNCH!!!! WELL YOU HAVE LOST MY SERVICE AND AS WELL AS MY PETS. MAYBE THAT IS WHY MY DOG DIDN'T WANT TO GO IN THE FRONT DOOR!!!I asked for my pets records as they will no longer need them and AMBER said to come back later on this afternoon to get them. I went back there at around 1845ish to get them and she was in there talking to her friends and told me that she did not have time to get them to come back tomorrow when she calls me to go and pick them up.If you are the owner if this ESTABLISHMENT, maybe you should look at a better MANAGER, because AMBER IS COSTING YOU $$$$$$.VERY DISGUSTED VETERAN WITH YOUR SERVICE!!!!!

These people will nickel and dime you for every cent you got. We had let our dog stay here for multiple times and where regulars but no more! We finally drew the line Memorial Day weekend. We flew back in town and our flight was delayed. Online they say they close at 5pm on Sunday and we showed up at 5:20. We called ahead to notify them and the owner argued with us on the phone. Then we drove to the kennel and The owner refused to let us take back our dog even though we could see him through the window!! He even was bold enough to say we couldn't pick him up Memorial Day but had to wait until Tuesday and would charge us extra. After arguing we where finally able to take our dog back on that Sunday. It cost us an extra $15 for a "late fee" even though we where only 20 minutes late and we called them to notify them as well. These people are simply rude and will take advantage of you whenever they can even if you are a regular! Go elsewhere. Trust me!!

Have been taking my rescued dog (Nene) to Brunos for about a year, all of the personnel working at the one in Flour Bluff are very friendly and truly care about the dogs that are left there. Another plus is that there is a veterinarian right there and groomers. The animals are always monitored by someone to assure that there are no problems. I am too old to take my animal for walks and take her there for the exercise she gets and the association with other dogs and people.
