We had the brisket plate and the brisket loaded, baked potato, both of them were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back here if I were in town again. Staff was friendly. Just walk in and sit down. Yummm!

Great spot, family-operated hole in the wall. Try the brisket breakfast tacos. I'll be back.

I am not from Laredo and found this little hidden jewel of a restaurant by accident. This is actually my second time here, and this restaurant continues to have an unbelievable consistency in their food and service. Carmen, Sandra and Michelle. Always makes you feel right at home. The first time I was here for breakfast and had the Menudo, it smelled absolutely delicious, the meat was so tender and so many flavor nuances made it so worth it, and the house made tortillas made it even better. The last time I was here they were out of the pork spare ribs, well today, I was able to order some today along with the jalapeño smokers, which are large jalapeño chilies stuffed with A creamy seasoned cream cheese wrapped with smokehouse bacon, simply out of this world good, they do it right! Serving staff Are always very friendly and helpful with the menu, always smiling. I was able to meet again the what I am thinking Owner/Manager Eduardo, was very pleasant to see and have a feeling he cultivates a very family oriented atmosphere for his staff. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion whether it be Mexican food or barbecue they do it right.Until Next timeChef Ron

We had to drive around the block twice to find the parking lot (behind the smokehouse, east)! Enter the parking lot just north off of Chihuahua. It was well worth the effort. Don't let the outside fool you. The inside has great decor, and very clean. The service was good, the brisket and ribs were tender and mesquite smoked (per the owner). The sides we ordered were good: creamed corn, coleslaw, & beans. It was 3:00 pm and they close at 4:00 pm, so they were not busy. The man at the table beside us said the 1/2 chicken is wonderful too. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures before diving in!!

If you're looking for a good brisket place, this has amazing brisket and a large menu with variety. Last time I went I had the Po'Boy sub and jalapeño poppers that has a special creme cheese with bits of brisket in it. Too good!

Very good brisket, nice shop. The circle k nearby has the lowest gas prices I've seen. I'd go back when in Laredo.

Tried this place for lunch based upon the good reviews. Very easy to pass it due to the small sign out on the main road and the restaurant is setback from the street quite a bit. See photo of signage road so you don't pass it up. Restrooms are located outside before you enter the main restaurant just FYIOrdered the sampler platter to try everything. Has brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, sausage, and chicken with 2 sides $19. Kind of dark inside tome, could use additional lighting.Metal utensils, paper napkins, and ceramic plates.Inside is pick nick type tables and benches. Food arrived quickly. Potato salad is mayo based not mustard so I did not really like it. Pork rib, brisket, and chicken was all very tender but nothing had a smoked flavored and appears to be done in an oven? Which is fine but I prefer the smoky taste in bar b q. Beef rib was disappointingly over done and a bit tough/ dry.Sadly I left most of it. The staff was very friendly and I wish them the best. Based on the other reviews it's possible I just caught them on a bad day, I hope so. I'll give them another try in a month or two when I'm back in town

The food was really good. Service was good. The only thing that truly doesn't work is the parking. Nevertheless it wouldn't deter me from eating there. I equally like that it was nice and quiet at the time I went but when I went again it was the usual amount of noise. Nothing too bad.

Service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I recommend getting the brisket and creamed corn as that was what I ordered and I'm still wanting to go back and get more. The atmosphere is what you would expect for Laredo but it lead to a very nice, relaxed ambiance.

Oh my god I haven't been to this place in forever but we literally had our wedding reception here. Fabulous place; this is hands down the best brisket in Laredo and probably some of the best in Texas (don't tell anyone in Austin I said that.) I somehow forgot it existed until right now but I've gotta go back for sure. I can't believe how yummy the place is.
