It's a little confusing when you walk in but everyone behind the counter is nice and let me know that you so and order - it's not counter service.The restaurant/bakery is nice and spacious. Instead of your traditional chips and salsa that you get at all Tex-Mex places. Bolillos gives you a delicious cup of Gisell and limes! The food was delicious- 2 bfast tacos hit the spot. I purchased a few pastries- pan Dulce, empanadas de calabaza, and danish for the family- all were extremely fresh and yummy! Definitely a place I'll frequent when in Laredo

This place is amazing! We stumbled upon it by accident and it did not disappoint. We'll be coming back every time we're in Laredo. Amazing breads/pastries and breakfast was to die for. I had the breakfast bolillos with machacado and chicharron salsa. It's a must try!!!!!

Grabbed the usual bean & cheese and coffee after camping along the border. Place seemed popular amongst the locals. It was clean inside, Spanish spoken, tacos tasty. Parking lot is very small but I believe you can park on the street. Easy to get to: right on the main drag. Will prolly return next time I'm down!

I hadn't been to Bolillos in a few months as I'm not a local but this place never disappoints, food is absolutely delicious ( everything I've tried to this day is so tasteful) my favorite is the poblano chicken, atmosphere is great and service is always top notch.

If you're going to order Bolillos, go in person (not carry out), and expect the trashiest customer service you've experienced for decent breakfast bolillos. The first time my family ordered carry out, we had to return to the restaurant THREE times (yes, THREE) because they consistently gave us the wrong order. Not slightly wrong--no--the entire wrong order with a totally different name than what ours is.We were willing to forgive this. Maybe they were short staffed, maybe they had a few new employees. So today, we tried again.Once again, we returned home with an order that belonged to a totally different family. Literally a different last name. Here we go again.We returned to the restaurant to get our correct order. They corrected it (we thought). When we arrived home, the bolillo we'd requested with just ham and cheese (because of a bean allergy) was slathered in beans. Are you kidding me?When we called back explaining we wanted our money back (because we were tired of going back and forth), we were told by a man who stated he was "in charge" that they could only credit us for the one bolillo that was wrong (not the order) and that they could ONLY credit us if we returned to the restaurant. Are you kidding me? In 2021, they can't credit us over the phone despite us using a credit card?The staff here is not only completely incompetent, but rude, dishonest, and nowhere near qualified for the restaurant service industry. We were shocked at their lies (of course a restaurant can credit a card over the phone) and moreover, the absolutely disgusting antagonism from the very people who had made the mistake.Do NOT order from here. I know we never will again.

The food here tastes SO AUTHENTIC! It is very delicious. Visited Laredo from Houston and I really wish Houston had a restaurant like this one. The service was great and the food was even better. It was packed when we went on a Sunday so I'm guessing it's popular and has wait times normally.
