ZERO STARS! READ ALL THEIR ONE STAR REVIEWS! These charlatans totally botched a $14,000 install that voided my warranty! All of their promises were nothing more than lies. They claimed to be certified by the manufacturer to install my unit. In fact, they only had one person who was certified. The week after my installation, he quit the company, leaving me without anyone who knew how to repair my unit. I hired a professional energy auditor to review their installation. He told me everything about it was wrong. They just threw down a prefabricated pad on top of my old pad and leveled it with wood blocks! WOOD BLOCKS! The unit was oversized. The ductwork was undersized. My air return box was half the size of what it needed to be. The unit was so starved for air it started sucking in humid air from the outside, through my walls, through my addict and around door frames. My home was quickly invaded by mold. The back wall of my den, which was paneling, was totally warped and ruined by the humid air. That cost me thousands of dollars to get it repaired! My hall closet, which is my addict access, was totally overtaken by black mold. The unit sucks hot humid air out of my attic and sweats constantly on the indoor unit. Bodine Scott sent out their "best" tech to look at my unit. He stayed at my house for 10 hours scratching his head, having no idea what he was looking at. They charged me over $500.00 and told me I needed a new part. They said they would order the part and get back to me. THREE MONTHS went by and nobody ever called me! After multiple complaints. Their "best tech" returned to replace the part. Only, he did not replace the part. I had marked it with my initials. He pretended to replace it, said it had been repaired and immediately left. No testing whatsoever to ensure the unit was working correctly. After complaining again. Do you think they apologized to me? No, they told me they had nobody who knew how to repair the unit and they wouldn't be coming out to my home anymore. These people are shysters.

My sister's AC went out last week. Unfortunately, I recommended this company because I have used them in the past. They weren't able to get to her house for 2 days. When they finally got there, they had to tear out a part of her wall where they thought there was a leak, but there wasn't. Then the tech didn't "have the skill set" to solder 3 joints and add expensive Freon to the unit. My sister has already paid $350 for this mess, and they won't be able to come back until Monday because "it's not an emergency." What?? and now there is Beryll headed our way. I simply can't believe it is taking over a week for her AC repair. You can do better, Bodine Scott.

Built several homes and used them, all my homes are hot and have AC issues. After 5 houses, I'm done. My rentals all have complaints about different levels being too hot. Once in the middle of early fall, my heat and AC was going on AT THE SAME TIME at my primary home and it was literally 102 (see photo) in my home. I'm done with them. My 4th level is so unregulated we can't even use it at all. In the summer it drops to 58 degrees (they said it's the "dump" area for the AC and the winter it's about 91 (see photo) degrees... absolutely ridiculous JUST EXCUSES FOR POOR WORK. It's been 3 years and no correction THEY DO NOT CARE. My rentals are horrible as well, temps are never regulated always hot or cold or AC pipes leaking within months of being installed. How do they stay in business?? Beware!!! They blame this computer system which shows them the best place to put ducts and vents ... WELL IT SUCKS ... must have a glitch because my master bedroom is always super hot, I literally want to sell every home they have done installs in it's so awful.

I called this company on Sunday 8/6/23 however no tech was available to come to my home so I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning.They came 8/8/23 and tech put dye in the system to try to find leak in my ac unit, charge was $266.They came 8/10 tech couldn't find leak before I had to leave for work at 11am, no charge.They came 8/12, 1 hr 15 mins late, tech didn't know what he came to my home for, he didn't bring uv light to check for leak, used my ladder without asking, then he was looking around in a bedroom with the light on his phone, I asked what he was doing in the bedroom and he said he was looking for the leak, then he left but I have 3 screws missing from my unit & he scratched my unit & he didn't put back fuse outside. No charge. I was trying to call the company when I saw him in the bedroom to get more information on what happens if leak isn't found and to verify tech Able actually worked for them however no one would answer the phone. I ended up texting them and the reply text states that my issue will be forwarded to the manager. On 8/14/23 I called to speak with manager and the manager was out of the office. I was able to verify that the tech did work for the company and was told the manager would call me back. I have not received a call from the manager and have now been without working AC for a week. Hope you don't have an issue with this company because they don't seam to return calls or be able to fix an ac. I recommend not using this company.

July 22, 2022I was charged $350 for an .89 cent gasket.The charge was his travel time to get to my house, then go to the warehouse to purchase the gasket. It took him 5 minutes to replace the old gasket.I am disappointed. I understand you have to make a living, but so do I.The service man smiled all the way to the bank.

From the first call that I made to this company to the follow up AFTER my unit was installed, I was impressed by the professionalism and "above and beyond" attitude everyone has shown. The sales (?) Tech was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the different options available to me. Scheduling was quick and within a few days of accepting the proposal, I had an appointment that worked for my schedule.The installation team was prompt and respectful of my home and tried to work in my requests for wore routing and time constraints. They did everything they said they would do and even cleaned up after themselves.The same sales tech followed up the same day and again about a week later. Best. Service. Ever...

Dealing with this company has been an absolute nightmare. The workers that have come out to do the work on the plumbing side are amazing. The office staff you have to deal with however are straight up disrespectful and horrible. I'm amazed they would employ people like this. Due to the office staff I would not recommend this company to anyone. I hope their plumbers doing the jobs get paid well for having to deal w such horrible office staff.

As a business owner it really takes a lot for us to submit a review specially a no star review but! it has been in the 40'a and lower 50's temperature inside our home and yesterday we slept with the lower 30's. All we get is one person blaming the other and not fixing the problem, we need our heater on. We cannot believe they told us it was the thermostat and they came in with the wrong kind then they never came back and it is 64 degree inside. It is going on a year. They were quick to take the money. We give them a zero.

Bodine-Scott and their professional team is making this a lot easier journey.The entire staff from sales, accounts receivable, permit and inspection coordinators these friendly, kind and understanding folks have removed much of the stress with this project. I did my homework, called at least 5 trades for each of the key elements in this process, Many trades did not even bother to call back and those that did, their quotes were higher without a substantial guarantee. I truly feel based on my research Bodine-Scott is treating us fairly.
