Boathouse Bar & Grill

AVOID AVOID AVOIDAbsolutely terrible.First off, sticky menus and a sticky table. We also found mold in our pepper grinder.The walls and ceiling have what looks like dark mold or dust. Please save your money and do not eat here.

We went around 5 on a weekday. Not busy so we got excellent service. We enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the water view. We were hoping to catch the sunset, but it was cloudy. Keep in mind most of the food is fried. I tend to not eat fried food so choices were limited. We ordered the mahi tacos and enjoyed them. Overall, it was a nice experience. The location is perfect as it was only a few minutes' walk from where are staying.They also have live music, karaoke and bingo nights.

Great for cold beer & mix drinks! But the food is meh.If you're looking for a Good Happy Hour & a snack...this is the place!!If you're looking for dinner.. Umm maybe not so much. Its okay but keep your expectations Low.

Super Bowl Sunday at the Boathouse was perfect. Drink and food specials hit the spot. Crowd was not overwhelming or too crazy. Ordered the SuperBowl appetizer which included a mix of all their selection, stuffed jalapenos, cheese sticks, fried pickles, chips/queso, fried macaroni. Also got the fish & chips, my friend ordered the shrimp & side. Everything was flavorful. Drink specials that day were $5 Margaritas, $2 jello shot, & assorted draft beer deals.

I didn't eat, but three of the people I was with did. One ate the fried shrimp with mashed potatoes & vegetables. Another ate the fish & chips and the third ate the blackened redfish with the fried potato salad and the onion rings. The first person said the fried shrimp was okay, but the vegetables lacked any seasoning or butter. Mashed potatoes were fine. The second person loved the fish & chips. Said they were the best they'd ever had. The third person loved the fried potatoes and the onion rings, as well as the blackened redfish.The service was excellent and the ambience was very nice.

I have always been a big fan of the boathouse so I wanted my family to join us while we were on vacation. We got there second shift had not shown up so the server got us our drinks and menus while we waited. We placed our orders for food and happy hour & the food came out and it was good as always. The staff left much to be desired. The entire time I felt like we were bothering them to get additional drinks or silverware. I am sad it wasn't a good experience. we had 11 people on our party but we tried very hard not tobe demanding. I think next time we will skip the boat house due to this experience and start looking for a new place to enjoy a pricey meal. We had 11 in our party with six of us drinking ONE adult beverage each. We ate happy hour foods plus a few meals. the tab was almost 4 bills including gratuity. She didn't deserve the gratuity based on the service provided. The sign says under new management so I would have thought it would have been closer to stellar.

Great dining experience at the Boathouse. Service was fast. Fish and chips and grilled shrimp came out hot and fresh. They are also not stingy with the tartar sauce, which is not the case with some restaurants (looking at you Pappadeaux) Price was reasonable. We love to go here because it is close to our condo. And we got to see the boat that sank!

This place has so much potential and in its day was probably a great place, but it's obvious the owners have let it go! The outside sign has lights burnt out and the entry was nasty looking. We went in anyway to have a drink and check it out further and at least give it a chance. The inside was not much better at the upstairs bar things were run down looking and the mens bathroom was disgusting. We were hungry but no way was I gonna eat something from here. Like I said, maybe great at one time but no more! Sad.......the boat next to the place says it all!

Service was slow Was very disappointed in the food. Lesson don't go by the photos that are posted Place did not look like pics nor the foodOrdered shrimp tacos and the without tomato because they make me sickWell got tomatoes and the shrimp looked like it was thawed from a package. The tortillas were store bought Would not recommend at Alll.... At least clean the windows so you don't see all the film Nope not worth the trip

We tried to go on January 15 and 16 , 2025 and it was closed and there were highway cones to keep cars out. I called and a recording said they were open everyday???
