Came here and beat the lunch rush by a few minutes! This place is popular with locals: which is a great sign! I think I was the only person in the place that was from out of town. The food was very fresh and tasted great! Lots of cool stuff on the walls to look at. I will be back every time I visit the coast! I have to try everything on their menu.

A GEM!!My husband had the catfish - it is AMAZING! I had a homemade chicken enchilada soup and a BLT combo- both were delicious.Don't get scared by the small dark interior - the food is delicious and the service and staff are super friendly!

I have to say, I have not had one bad meal at Boardwalk Café. I've tried a variety of meals on their menu and each one comes out hot, fresh and tasty. Today I tried their "Angry Bird" sandwich. It's a blackened chicken breast filet on their signature jalapeno sourdough bun with pepper jack cheese, bacon and a kicked-up cayenne mayonnaise. It comes with the standard variants of sides and toppings but, if you REALLY want to spice it up some more (if you dare!), get the FRIED JALAPENOS on it! Oh my goodness! These are spicy, delicious little nuggets of GOTCHA that makes ANY burger or sandwich elevated to another level.It all makes for a fantastic combination of flavors that you'll want to come back for again and again. As always, the service is uber-friendly and fast. Prices are excellent. You just can't go wrong coming here.

Hike in the wall restaurant in Flour Bluff. Excellent food & service. I had the patty melt & fries, which was perfect. It was hot, fresh & tasty. Fries cooked perfectly crispy. Husband had the enchilada casserole and it was also very good. Small menu with solid options , great daily specials.

Ok this is definitely a Hidden Gem! Omg the food was Sooo good and the service was fantastic. Trust me it's kinda hidden but this place is well worth the detour. They only have brunch on the weekend but it's a must try y'all. If you are visiting or live in Corpus Christi Tx This place is a must.

I had a squirrely experience here last Thursday. I was staying on N. Padre and researched someplace nice for lunch. Went out of my way to get here. Just as I got out of my car and stepped onto the porch a woman came out the door and said "Sorry, we just closed." I thought it must be later than I thought it was. Checked the time when I got back in my car and it was 1:18. They're not supposed to close until 2 so I was WELL ahead of that. As I got in my car I watched 2 men get out of their truck and go into the restaurant. They didn't come back out so apparently they were more welcome than I was. Extremely disappointing.

Had lunch here with the hubby. They're only open 10:00 am - 2:00 pm daily.Good home cooked meals and friendly staff. Low prices. Sodas come in cans, so no refills.

I was really hoping to like this place. The service was super good and the restraunt was very cozy. The prices are reasonable. I had fried mahi mahi and french fries. The mahi mahi was very dry. The french fries were nothing special. No seasoning and tasted like frozen fries.

Great place for lunch! The food is fresh and tasty, and the staff is friendly. I had the cheese burger, and it was delicious. Service is quick. Perfect for a casual meal!

This place is a hidden gem. Surprisingly amazing! Not much to look at outside but don't let that keep u away! The food is amazing and your glass is always full. We had the daily special; meatloaf, u get a ample portion that is served hot and was better than my Mom's. What we loved is when U walk in and instantly meet and greeted by the owner with a great and kind attitude. It's very clean and comfortable with a great lunch time menu.
