Bluff's Landing Marina and Lodge

We stayed at the porch house that Bluff's Landing rents. We had 3 generations of our family in the house and it was perfect. All 3 bedrooms had bunk beds with a large bed on the lower bunk and a twin upstairs. Everybody had their own bed, although the couch was mighty comfy.The house came with everything you need to really enjoy your time. The porch was amazing with a view of the bay and a wonderful breeze all the time.We were maybe a 1/2 mile from the marina, which had everything we needed for a great day on the bay. Checking in to the house and using the marina was a breeze.We can't wait to come back.

We used to love this place, as it was our neighborhood launch. We've been on a waiting list for 2 years for a slip with no communication. Now, they have gone private, shutting out all of the neighbors that have supported them for decades. This is sad and frankly, not in the best interest of Flour Bluff. We will not join if they open to small membership. We went down the street to the brand new well managed (financially) Boat Stop Marina. Very happy with many perks to come in 2025.

Closest marina to Baffin Bay. Launch is often filled with grass although they do make an effort to keep it cleared. Usual high marina prices. Poor parking so come early. $5 launch fee.

Very cute, friendly and a very welcoming staff. Very accommodating. Don't be fooled by the small rooms, the courteous staff and atmosphere makes up for it. Pet friendly and we'll be coming back again!!

I was skeptical of the reviews for this place when I first read about it here on Yelp. ("3 x 5-star reviews? Surely it's the owner's cousins".) I no longer am skeptical.Well, we stayed there and I'm glad we did. You get a $180 room for $108. Why? Perhaps because they are a tad out of the way for the high-volume beach crowd and cater to sport fishers / hunters.FOR THE RECORD: I have no family, social or business connection with this establishment. I was a total stranger to them 4 days ago.Bathroom was SUPER clean, perfectly maintained and comfortable. Hot water straight away -- no wait. Great soap and shampoo. No smelly salt-water intrusion like a lot of shoreline establishments. Outer bathroom (sink, counter area) also near perfect condition.Beds: Clean and comfortable. Lots of outlets for charging umpteen electronic devices at once.A/C worked great and was highly adjustable (a good thing).Refridge and Microwave also VERY clean and worked great.Pet Policy was also very reasonable.The ONLY thing I did not like was the &$^#% sport fishermen in the next room (2 rooms away?) having a stupid, drunken LOUD, faux-intellectual debate at 3:15 AM that woke me up and kept on for about 1/2 hr. I'm not going to blame the motel for this.So ... this is NOT a 5-start hotel / motel. But in this price range, I doubt you will find a better value anywhere in the country. So I'm not going to be the one to give them their first 4-star review.And yes, the lady who checks you in is sweet as pie, as the other reviewers have pointed out. The Marina worker who checked me out real quick was also very nice. (Not gruff like a lot of places.)

Bluffs Landing Marina is the best marina I have ever stayed at! The lodges are amazing and there is a restaurant that will cook your catch right next door! My husband and I took a guided fishing tour "it was my first time to do this on the ocean." We had so much fun drinking beer and catching our full limit of fish. I can't wait to go back! P.O.S place, if your not a "VIP" then your not treated well at all, they are always out of bait, unless of course your one of the eliteists . Never consistent with bait.The ramps and roads around the marina have pot holes that your truck falls into, very poor maintenance around the facility. Got there and waited for them to open at 5AM, 4th person in and " sold out of bait" because I was not a part of a tournament, so y'all can f-off, never return to your pos place again.

Well let's start out with the bartender I think here name was Dawn. She was awesome ! She kept the drinks coming and always smiling. I would have given y'all 5 stars but the beer wasn't as cold as it should be. That is a easy fix just FYI. Had the Bloody Mary bar it was a great idea keep it up . Had the cicerones and the loaded nachos asada and it all was awesome. So keep up the good work . PS you might want to get things a little more organized going towards the women's restroom saw several customers confused of where to go.

If they had a half star they would be lucky to get that! I had made travel plans 4 months prior for a rental house. They had an issue with the house being sold which I receive an email stating they were going to set me up in another house. All good. Day prior to my stay I decide to call the office to get the information that I need to check-in. Well, they couldn't find my reservation and once they found it they realized that they screwed up and didn't book the house and basically just cancelled my prior reservation without even an email. They couldn't even give me a call back. This would not have been a big issue if they would have communicated to me, and I could have gone elsewhere. Now I am scrambling to get rooms for my customers. All can say is, if you make a reservation stay on their a#@ because they have piss poor customer service and will leave you in a bind like they did me. And don't believe an email like I did....FROM THE LODGING PERSONELL I wanted to reach out to inform you that the house your lodge was reserved in has been sold, however did have another option to pass by you and see if you'd like to proceed with that. As of 6/19/2024 sailfish lodge is no longer apart of Bluff's Landing and did not transfer over as a STR to the new owner - unfortunately. However, I am managing the sister lodge (KINGFISH LODGE) for the new owner (just right next door). This lodge has the same layout and can accommodate the same amount of persons. Clean rooms and the setting is authentic Corpus Christi. Truly a hidden gem, a nice place to stay.
