Billings Bait Stand

My kids and I came down from Dallas and wanted to do some fishing. We really didn't know a lot about saltwater fishing and had a lot of questions. The guy that helped us, not only gave us advice on type of fishing, but also recommedned a few spots. We ended up catching 5 fish and had a great time. This will be out bait shop when we come back to CC. Thanks !!

Sharkbait! Hoo ha ha! This is an Awesome place to buy bait. My son and I came here this past weekend and the guy behind the counter was HILARIOUS....which is a Rare-Find cuz most other bait shops in the area have some Real Grumps working behind the counter. We got a couple pounds of dead shrimp at $5.00 per lb. and a stringer for $1.25. Anyway, the experience was memorable which is Great when on vacation. Customer Service was Very Exceptional....it's the kind that you wish/hope to find Everywhere. Bottom line, next time you're near the JFK Causeway and looking for Fish Bait; go under the bridge & stop by Billings Bait Shop!!

Billings has been around a long time. When the OLD piers were re-built and the area refurbished.. I can still recall getting my live shrimp from them before going out on the dock where my father would have the boat in the water and ready to launch into the coastal bend - in the 70s.These guys are beautifully old and the place really hasn't changed in 40 years. I think they got an ice vendor.... You still have to pay cash when you go in, but it's worth the trip. VERY fond memories of them as a young girl and now, as a senior citizen.Just great folks.

Took a guided trip out of Billings and everyone was great. Shout out to Capt. Taylor Czar for the 1st place Trout at the CCAPI fishing tournament!

We love this place. Being novice fishermen, we needed a lot of help and these guys were glad to provide it. One of the guys cleaned my son's fish and taught him how to do it himself to get the biggest fillets. We have been here nearly two months and have used this bait stand nearly everyday. They are always friendly and give great advice as to where to go on any given day to find the fish. We have learned a lot from them and am very grateful for their great customer service. Give them a try when you are in the area. You won't be sorry.

The shrimp I used from this place had some kind of good voodoo on them cause my husband and I caught a ton of cool fish, the guy behind the counter had THE BEST and I mean the best customer service! So friendly and easy going! Other places around there have pretty nasty cashiers or owners and when on vacation that's always a stab at the fun. But even without it being vacation season this place was perfect! Will definitely only be getting all my bait and equipment from these guys next time we go! Thank you for the great experience y'all made my time out there worth while!!
