Bill Miller BBQ

Ordered food on Sunday, July, 30, 2023. Placed order of 3 pancakes and bacon at 9:20 am. The wife and I split that meal since it's filling. We were the only customers who were dining in and there were no cars in drive through. As I type this it is 9:41am and still no sign of my pancakes. No one offered an apology or explanation of why it was taking so long. We finally got our food at 9:50am. I rate the service, speed, and friendliness of staff (especially Angelia) one star. I rate the food four stars. The average is 2.5 stars which I graciously rounded up to 3 stars for this review. I'm from San Antonio and the bill millers there are so much better. I hope this review is seen by owners so they can do some training in customer service.

I ate the turkey dinner, wifey ate the fried chicken. Fair to partly cloudy on both meals. Would I go back??!!? The one in Portland, I would...not sure about the rest. One time I went to the one on Ayers, BBQ chicken smelled rancid. The manager made it good. Not chicken, BBQ sandwich .

Can't even remember the last time I ate at a Bill Miller. Being from ATX, there are so many craft places and legends in the field we don't waste our time with corporate Q. This BM was directly across from the hotel I was staying at on a recent trip to Corpus. I arrived early for a quick bite before heading home. Place seemed clean enough. Condiment area was easy to find entering the dining area. Same couldn't be said for the breakfast menu on the opposite wall of the regular menu. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese taco and a drink. Not a particular fan of putting this type of link sausage in a breakfast taco. Same as the Rudy's chain. I get it; your a BBQ restaurant. It's what they got. Main reason for my favorable rating is the friendly manager that loaned me some windex. I had driven down to Corpus in my convertible. I could barely see thru the windscreen when I crossed the street.Went out to my car with some paper towels from the dining tables and cleaned the glass for my return trip. Thank you! Even though the I asked the cashier the same request and she said yall didn't have any?? LOLHow the heck do to clean the glass in this place?

Everything was great food was so good & service was awesome. Ms.Nicole is so sweet and keeps everything running great best bill millers in town

i been out of town 3 months. just got back and been to this location 2 times. BOTH TIMES NO PICKLES & ONIONS with either order. YOU NEED TO ASK FOR EVERYTHING from unpleasant workers that seem annoyed you're asking for something after they take your $20 bucks.

No line to order at speaker, order Bill Miller Breakfast, no bean double hash browns, bacon instead of sausage. Pretty simple or so I thought. Silence then asked me to repeat the order, sounded like the person was pre-occupied with the window duty. Repeated, then asked to repeat again and did. Then told would give me the total at the window. Two cars in front of me at the window when I drive up, 10 minute wait. SMH. When I get to the window, I was handed a bag, i looked at the lady and she reread my order and said oh did you want a plate or a bowl? She said it was the same. Then asked if I wanted the tortillas. I took what she gave me and headed to work. Upon arriving to the office. The bowl was not full and there was no double hashbrowns. The lady at the window was abrupt and rude and the food portions were not what was advertised or historically given. The worst BM experience.

The service is quick and the food was hot. I saw the drive thru line and almost turned away but I had a craving for some tenders. I ordered in the drive thru and it only took 2-3 minutes after ordering. They were really serving quick in the drive thru.

Pre-ordered Thanksgiving dishes, including a pecan and pumpkin pie among other things, a week in advance. When I got there they told me "they were out of pumpkin" and offered a pecan instead. What is the purpose of pre-ordering AND pre-paying if they are still going to "run out" of your order? Very poor management. Never again. I do not recommend you order anything in advance counting on it for an important gathering like Thanksgiving as it can ruin your event! I can understand just showing up thinking they will have what you want to buy, but when you pre-order AND PRE-PAY, you should have no problem.

If you come to this drive thru, CHECK YOUR ORDER every time! They don't listen! I asked for a 2 meat plate with sauce on the side. When I get to the register they up-charged me for a combo with a sweet tea. There was no mention of a drink when I ordered at the drive thru. I got my meal with sauce and gave it back to them to fix. I politely asked for pickles too. Got the meal back with no pickles. Had to knock on the door to ask for some and I specifically asked for no onions with them. How hard is it to just get what I ordered?! I spent about 20 mins there from order to getting pickles and onions in baggies.

I forgot my wallet to pay for my food and the employee told me I could use Applepay to pay for my food and...IT WORKED!! That alone is my rating for a 4 star. Oh yeah and their food is great!!
