Visited 10/5/24 ~ I had the fish & chips. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger. My 4yr old daughter had the corn dog. My fish & chips was soooo good. Almost OMG good. The tartar sauce was great too. My husband said his cheeseburger was delicious. My 4yr old said her corn dog was "good". She's 4 so that's about all you get right now. The service was great. You order at the "container" and the bartender gives you a number & someone brings you your food. Both the bartender & food runner were very courteous. My only "complaints" are that the table we were sitting at (with adirondack chairs) didn't have enough lighting after the sun went down & the mosquitos got us (even in the dark). Having some citronella at sunset might be a good idea. (You can sit inside but the booths are by the kitchen & it was a nice night for sitting outside.) Oh, I didn't really like that the air conditioner was right above the drink station blowing air right above the kids to the drinks & straws. Hopefully the ducts are clean. Overall it was great & I'd definitely go back on another visit to Port A.

Great place to hang out, chill and people watch on the corner. Convenient, since it's just a short way from our vacation home. As for food, the fried pickles were good and my hubs liked the fried chicken, but the pretzel arrived cold, hard and almost freezer-burnt. Bartenders are attentive and friendly, offering great drink suggestions. Find a swing and relax!

The beers are perfectly cold. Nice bar. Great service. American burger is excellent. Giant pretzel with bier cheese is freakin' delicious. Fun place. Definitely going back.

Fun, indoor/outdoor restaurant with full bar and ample beer selection. You order at the trailer outside and get a number. You put the number on the stand at your table and food is delivered in our case in about 10-15 minutes. Drinks were excellent, food was great, and service was very good. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger- Nicely flavored and perfectly cooked. It comes on a nice, toasted bun. My wife got the Shrimp tacos-each of the two comes in a double corn tortilla, as there is so much packed into them, the fixins come running out if you're. It careful. Ordering is easy, drinks are tasty, and there is seating from a high top to low table, to swings, to group table. Dogs (and hungry birds) abound. Read the menu carefully. Some sandwiches include fires (sic)...fries, a little error by the proofreader of the menu board, but most don't.

There is a sign warning that their food takes time to prepare, that said it didn't seem to take too long to get our food but our orders were simple enough. Fish tacos - super fresh and delicious. Lemon pepper wings had a crispy skin, strong seasoning but we loved it. The buildings that piece this place together are an eclectic mix and you'll probably find yourself sitting outside but hey, it's an island feeling! Great choice of drinks - they had a prickly pear margarita that was very popular and my wife said it was excellent.

We came here for the first time around 10PM on a Wednesday night for a late dinner. We beat a small crowd and ordered our food from the truck and food was brought out to us in 15 minutes or less. Located on the corner right across from the Holiday Inn & 2 blocks from the beachfront I can imagine how this place might stay busy (we chose it due to proximity/convenience ourselves). Menu is mostly burgers but they have salads and grilled cheese no bacon, etc. for the vegetarians. Food was alright, fries could have used salt/seasoning but the grilled cheese very good, your classic/stereotypical American cheese sandwich and crispy without being greasy. The croutons to the salad had a pickle flavor and were soft, I questioned if this was a cooking error but it was still good. They have a few tables of indoor seating inside (the music outside was a bit loud and not a fan of the country they were playing) but it smelled very heavily of cooking oil to where we immediately came back outside, just something to note if eating indoors is importance to you/ your meal planning. This venue is definitely designed with eating outdoors and being social in mind as the majority of the seating is outside, along with some other social activities/areas like cornhole to keep you hanging out till close. A cute fun spot to check out if you're in the area or need a late-night bite (they're open to midnight every night).

Great Philly cheesesteak and fries. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend for a great meal on the island. Fun little spot.

JAMMED according to hubs on a Friday night at 9:00pm. He went to pick up food for us. Sign says, "if patio is full, at least an hour wait". Yup; it was full. He ordered the mushroom Swiss burger (meat overdone but fries good he said). I ordered the 6 chicken wings (lemon pepper) and asked for all flats (which they accommodated). Tasty, crunchy, lemony and salty all which I like. (May be too salty for others). Also ordered the pretzel and beer cheese. An honest to goodness thick, gooey beer cheese which you can actually taste the beer; delicious! Big fluffy pretzel. Impressive. Sorry. No photos this time. Would recommend as a good eats spot for your weekend beach getaway.

Ok, so if you decide to go here, this is your warning on what to expect, good and bad. You order drinks and food at the "container" bar and they bring you your food. No problem. But they don't give you a breakdown in your bill, so we didn't realize until later that they charged us for terrible fries with our burger. We didn't order them and they charge $2.50. I ordered onion rings (DO NOT ORDER THESE BTW- they are $9 and not good). There were only 5 small ones and they use a box style batter, the same as they would use on the Fish and Chips, that has sugar in it. One Plus is that they don't hand you a handheld CC unit and start tip at 20%. I decided to give 15% even though you have to order standing up, they never come check on you again and you have to bus your own table. In hindsight, I would t have done that. The burger meat was ok, but the buns they use are buttered and have sugar in them. We had to ask for a napkin dispenser and ketchup as none were on the table. I did order the wrong second round of beers, and when I realized what I had done, the bartender did allow me to switch them at no charge. But I ordered wrong again based on my description to her. But in the end, we would go back to have a couple of beers, but not for the food.

Burger was delicious. Shrimp tacos were very greasy with hardly anything in them. Glad they had non alcoholic beer.
