I've stayed at BeeGee's properties for the last 4 years 5 times. We are already booking our next stay. I highly recommend staying at their properties! They are so easy to work with, contactless entry, and great amenities.

This is my complaint: The other reviews on Yelp are correct about this property manager BeeGee not being honest & giving deposits back. My hubby & I stayed with BeeGee over a week Thanksgiving holiday 2014 & we had a lovely time. We ALWAYS bring our OWN linens & towels we NEVER use ANYONE else's. Hotel, condo or otherwise. She told us bc we were so neat she would give us a great deal on our XMAS vacation rental with her & she would wave the cleaning fee bc we use our own linens & are neat freaks. She said she would just transfer the deposit over to the new XMAS reservations. We made the XMAS reservations, she held the deposit over & we went for XMAS 2014/New Years 2015. We left the house spotless. We NEVER received any deposits back of any kind. I phoned her a few weeks back to ask her about it & inquire about reservations for another holiday & I was informed our deposit would be double & still no refund on either of the rentals fromLast year. We have now found a new rental company (Palm Bay rentals/pipalmbay.com) that is much better & a whole lot more honest. Amazing experience and we will definitely be back! We have stayed here twice now and each time has been a wonderful experience! The booking through VRBO is very easy, and Ann & Sue communicate openly with you from the moment you book the reservation. The checkout process is super easy and they even texted us the day before letting us know that the rental unit was already clean and ready for us, so if we wanted we could check in as early as 12! We really appreciated that!The property is in a great location, and right in the heart of everything--stores, restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, liquor store, and easy access to the beach. We stayed in the Wahoo Quarters which is perfect for us because it's just me and my boyfriend and our two dogs. The Wahoo Quarters is a one bedroom, one bath, with a queen bed, a living room, large kitchen, dining room, two flat screen TVs, plenty of towels, extra blankets, extra pillows, complementary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, face wipes, etc. The best part is the outdoor space! There is a back patio with an outdoor shower, a charcoalBBQ grill, patio table, picnic tables, etc. There is also a fully fenced in front yard with green grass and a white picket fence. The front yard is huge! It is shared with the other 3 units. It is perfect for our dogs because we didn't have to leash them up and go on walks trying to find patches of grass for them to do their business on, as we have had to do in the past at other places. It was so convenient to just open the door to the fenced in yard and let them do their business. The only warning I have for other dog owners is that the yard is shared, so I always stepped outside first to double check that there were not people or other dogs (because my dogs often bark at people they don't know). So I would just double check before letting the dogs run out into the yard. Most of the time we were the only ones in the yard!The checkout process is very great too. I don't think the other reviews on this page are very accurate. We have never been over-charged or anything. We even showed Ann and Sue a spot on the bathroom door that our dog scratched the paint off and they were so cool about it and told us it was no big deal. Other things: great water pressure, A/C works great, W/D in unit (bring detergent), large fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, dishwasher, all worked great. Two outdoor hoses. Great place overall!

I do not recommend.The stay was a nice place and well suited for our needs. The problem came when checking out. According to the rental agent a glass table was broken by our party. I assure you this was not the case! Maybe putting a 100lb TV on a quarter inch glass top that is held up by only six points of contact at the legs(which happens to be exactly where this crack was located) is a bad idea. Rental agent admitted this table was originally bought for a new flat screen tv which means this top was originally bought to hold a maximum of 30lbs, not 100lb. That is a 70lb difference. Bad timing for my group, yes. Our fault for there incompetence, no.To top this off a previously broken chair was repaired unprofessionally and collapsed as one of us sat down causing a hard fall to the floor. When I pointed this out she gave a look of suspicion my way instead of asking if we were okay. Just another example of how BeeGee operates.The place was nice but they will take your 300dollar damage deposit to pay for their unintelligent furniture choices.

**We found this vacation spot through VRBO.com who refuse to publish this review on their site. Don't believe what you read there.**My girlfriend and I rented this home for the weekend to celebrate our three year anniversary. I emailed Bee Gee, the property manager, and told her that we would be bringing our dog since she claimed to be pet friendly. When we arrived we were immediately barraged with an overbearing and rude property manager who claimed she was unaware that we were bringing a dog. She also wanted to charge me a pet fee which we obliged. After finally being checked in and walked through the numerous rules we finally were able to relax. However, that was short lived. The property shares a pool which was constantly filled with screaming kids. When we went to check out with Bee Gee we again received quite a bit of attitude and she seemed very put out when I asked for a receipt. About 20 minutes after checking out I received a call from Bee Gee. She was scolding me and said that the amount of dog fur we left was "a slap in the face". I reminded her that her "dog friendly" rental home has a cleaning fee for the small amount of dog fur that was left. She told me that we probably wouldn't be receiving our deposit because it would take her over an hour to get the fur up. I tried to explain that we had paid the cleaning fee and that our deposit was for damage done to the property not for fur being left. She continued to criticize and then hung up on me. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism that we experienced on our short trip. After fighting with Bee Gee as well as filing complaints through VRBO we finally received our damage deposit. Don't be fooled by the good reviews on VRBO. Take my advice and check reviews on other sites such as Yelp. I wish I had done this because I discovered that we were not the only renters who she has tried to keep their damage deposit because of fur. Needless to say, we will not be staying anywhere near her properties again.

This place does not even deserve a star, it deserves an icon of the poop sign. The property manager is completely rude and unprofessional. It says pet friendly but unless you have a hairless cat named whiskers dont bring them. She will just jack your deposit and say your pet left hair every where. I felt like the property manager was actually staying with us we saw her so many times lingering around our rental. Dont waste your money or time on this place.

I do not understand any of the bad reviews. I have stayed at her Dome on the dunes property many times. It is one of cleanest and nicely decorated locations we have stayed at while vacationing in Port A. Miss Beegee is one the sweetest ladies I have ever met! She has always bent over backwards to accommodate us and my requests. Plus, the view for the price is unbeatable. If you are looking for a CLEAN nice place to stay in Port A and don't want to stay in a hotel room I highly recommend these lodgings.

Bad Choice Coastal Quarters! The property is beautiful - the management - Billie- are rude and unprofessional. We booked our room in February for a stay in June. They charged us upfront 1 nights stay- yes- the charge went through my credit card. We called about a month out to change a TH - FR reservation to FR - Sat reservation. We were told not problem, and if there was she would call us back. A couple of weeks before our trip I received a voice mail stating I never returned any calls and our reservations had been cancelled! I called immediately - and she YELLED at me stating "you are one of these IPHONE people who never returns calls". Ranted about how high her taxes were and she could get more for the room now........ I told her there must be some miscommunication (would a manager of a property really act like that?) and she hung up on me! I was in shock - but even more so after I received an email stating "you should stay at the Holiday Inn - you seem like a one night stay kind of person". Really?My friends did have their party at the property. The location is wonderful. Billie, the manager, continued her rude behavior with EVERY member of the party! Finished off with the 25th wedding anniversary cake melting because the AC didn't work. Can you even imagine what they felt like? The property is nice, the management makes it a horrible stay! Billie, you have no business being a manager of anything! Worse customer service I have ever received in my ENTIRE LIFE! Stay at the Port Aransas Inn. They were close, clean, and the management was super friendly!

My family and I just left this property. We were told before we booked that they were extremely pet friendly, so we booked it. We even brought our own sheets to cover furniture. When checkout time came, my sweet mother got a very aggressive phone call from the manager. For about 10 min she was yelled at for the following: one coke can on the table, two dishes in the sink (the dishwasher was full and running when we left), and sand/fur on the ground (mind you we are at the beach). The place was left in very good condition, and we had even paid for a cleaning crew to come (or so we were told before booking). For a coke can on the table to merit calling and yelling at renters is mind boggling. We even called the Chamber of Commerce and let them know that this lady was ripping all of these people off and they knew her name before we even said it. Apparently there are a lot more people out there getting scammed by this woman. Sites like VRBO and AirBNB get paid by the businesses to erase bad reviews for them. From reading other Yelp reviews, it seems that this is the managers business strategy to get more money. It's a scam. If you put a deposit down, don't expect to get it back even if you are neat freaks. They will make something up to keep your money. I do not recommend renting from here. We will definitely not be going back.

Stay away!!! Very poor management and customer service. Was told one thing than another, then they took my $$$. Do not waste your$$ on this business. The owner was very rude and childish, hung up on us and wrote us a letter stating we should stick to cheap motels from now on. Wish I would have looked at the reviews on Yelp prior to making reservation with one of BeeGee's properties through VRBO. Although I made a formal complaint with VRBO, I have already lost my money and no resolution has been made through the formal complaint. I wish VRBO would allow comments and reviews, both good and bad. I find my negative experience to be very similar to what others have posted. I do not understand why VRBO chooses to keep her on their website after she has treated customers this way and is actually telling VRBO customers to go elsewhere for rentals (cheap motels). It's not VRBOs fault, though. We have had good experiences with other vacation rentals. Just warning others who might be looking for a nice relaxing island getaway, THIS IS NOT IT! She stressed me out so much, saying one thing than another, then changing her mind again! I actually started crying, and I don't easily cry. Disgusting property, not like the photos at all. And she will find some way to take more of your $$ than originally agreed upon. She does not follow her own policies listed on her website, she just makes up additional costs and fees. Her excuse, she uses CANCER. Literally uses it as an excuse to take your $$, to be rude, to be unprofessional, and to be a criminal. So as to make you feel sorry for her and as to explain the miscommunications or mistakes she made. If she even has cancer! I don't know, it's none of my business, but she had every excuse in the book it seemed.If you don't believe me, I've got the letter with her signature she wrote to us.
