3 stars because I had really good really good mahi mahi just a very small portion for the price. The main reason for the low rating is my wife ordered a chicken poboy. The chicken was paper thin and didn't even cover the bread. The bread was more like garlic bread than poboy bread. It was extremely over cooked. So dry she couldn't finish it. Egg roll for an appetizer were decent. I come for seafood again because they seem to have that part of the menu down.

What a waste of time. Could not enjoy the meal because like posted elsewhere CUSTOMER service was awful. Arrived at noon didn't get a menu till 15 minutes later. Didn't get order placed till 12:20 /five minutes later although I informed the waitress I was ready now. I ordered buffalo wings and mushrooms. Something quick and off the appetizers menu. Food wasn't ready till 12:55 had to get it to go at that point. Yet others that came in after me were greated and seated with menus and food was out before mine and others from work I went to lunch with.So dissapointing I blessed a lady outside of the establishment with my food for she was down on her luck.And note I presented her with a smile, food, and a prayer with no waiting.......Bad service can turn a possible good meal for me to a never again and a negative review.Colleagues of mine were not impressed as well.

Very nice service. The shrimp rolls are excellent. However, ordered the grilled scallops & jumbo shrimp with grilled vegetables - literally INEDIBLE! So much Cajun seasoning that it clustered and clumped almost like batter- disgusting way to ruin excellent seafood. The menu made no mention of any over abundance of hot, spicy seasoning. Shrimp, scallops and fresh vegetables have their own flavors why ruin good food?

Based on other Yelpers reviews, and being not that far away in Galveston, we decided to give it a whirl.First - they were very accommodating for a friend with a companion dog. Service was very, very good and attentive. The Mexican Shrimp Cocktail was very good but spicy hot. The gumbo had a great roux base. The bacon wrapped shrimp were good, although the bacon was too crispy for my tastes the catfish was good, my shrimp and scallops were fantastic and they use real scallops and not round cut flounder. My wife ordered a steak, and it was over cooked, but I said that it was foolish to ores a steak at a seafood house. One of our party. Had the salmon and it was reported delicious. One thing -oddly enough - was that the baked potato was the best I've ever tasted. We will go back when we can.

This little place is quite a gem for Freeport! This is a quiet little restaurant for dining in or ordering take out, and our waitress was the sweetest and nicest lady ever. They have to largest menu in town! From classic apps, to seafood platters, to oriental cuisine, you're sure to find something for everyone. The food was straight up fresh (we could hear it cooking in the kitchen because we were the only ones in there). When I say this food is good, I mean it. This isn't your Red Lobster or overpriced only-restaurant-in-town type. These people care about food and dining. The prices are reasonable, the food is great, and whether you want a burger, some scallops, or some pad thai, this is the place!

Pretty good. I had grilled catfish with shrimps. Though to my taste too salty and spicy. And grilled means fried but not deep fried.

Waitress was very efficient and friendly. The coleslaw was surprisingly good, as we're the hushpuppies. We were happy she asked if we wanted them first as we were starving. A wall-mounted TV in the corner showed CNN. Kinda nice, and patrons dining alone sat facing it. Meantime two families with kids and another few couples dined, even though it was well after lunchtime (2-2:45). The grilled seafood platter came looking like the photo on the wall and tasted every bit as good (awesome grilled shrimp). I ordered the pad Thai, partly out of curiosity, partly because it's my personal comfort food. Not recommended although it was tasty. It isn't what you're expecting for pad Thai; more like a Vietnamese noodle dish. All in all, better than expected. Note: restrooms were clean and well laid out. Plenty of towels and good, hot water.

Burgers and seafood are always amazing. Not bad prices. The bacon wrapped shrimp with sweet and sour sauce is very good!!

The seafood is not fresh. Service was great.Vietnamese owned and managed. Stay away. They drain their frozen Oyster every day and try to pass them for fresh by putting them in empty shells b

AWFUL! The food was not great and they are deceiving the customers! I asked for a Grouper and they brought out CATFISH! I even tried to rectify the mistake but no luck. The owner is very rude and would not honor my request. She insisted it was Grouper but it most definitely was not. I wonder how many other customers she is tricking!
