Baytown Seafood and Bar

Stopped in for beer and appetizers. Draft beer icy cold. Ordered the corn nuggets and onion rings. Corn nuggets very good. Onion rings so so. Service was excellent. Clean atmosphere and clean bathroom.

Cigarette smoke was strong as soon as we walked in. Crackers we're stale. Salad bar - not much! Service was prompt, but fish was too breaded, ketchup not Heinz, and my husband's scallops we're well..... He had to hurry home before he crapped all over himself. Oh wait a minute..... No it was just a fart. So what else needs to be said ...... We were told not to go there, and next time we will listen. nice waiter but his pants from the back look like a he was carrying a load. Fyi

I really don't know why they ask smoke or don't smoke because there aren't any difference in this place. The food was average. The have great employees but I will no bring mi kids to this place, they can smoke 16 cigarette in less than 30 min.

I went there with my sister to have lunch after a great family event. When we drove up, the place looked quite run down. Tiles were missing from the flower beds and dirty leaves had packed up against the curb. I had been there before about 7 years prior and the outside hade not changed. We went inside and the décor was much better than I remembered, so I was hoping for a good experience. There was a group of ladies in the back and one other couple in the main dining area. The girl that waited on us was fairly good but I cant tell you her name because she didn't tell us. She took our order and we were asking for Cole slaw. She said she would bring us a bowl and it was over in the "Cole Slaw: area...I literally had to go and get my own. The food was OK sort of, but the onion rings were "Jack in the box" and the rest was not bad, but it felt like "thaw and fry".....prices are far too high for the quality!~....

My mom and I came in for dinner. There was no one to greet us at the door. Everyone was in the back of the house. They acted like they were in a rush when they served us.My mom and I ordered Grilled plates with extra vegetables. The vegetables were good. The grilled fish was spicy. I really did not enjoy being there. I realize my mom paid for the meal and she was not too happy with food.

Good local restaurant, have eaten there several times food and service is great. Friendly and quick service, larger seating area and seating at the bar.

Lady owner is very rude, loud, causes a scene for the whole building instead of talking to customers up close, calls customers stupid, walks away when the customer is asking questions, and blames the customer when prices are questioned and WILL not make things right when a brand new waitress didn't know to explain that it was NOT all inclusive AS LISTED on the menu, its separate. *sausage/potato/corn for 3.50 when other menu items are listed as *frog leg OR stuffed crab for $5. I ordered 3 sides which I thought would be $13.50. NOPE it's 3.50 for corn, 3.50 potato, 3.30 sausage times 3. Very confusing when everything else says "or" and this is all listed with a slash. When I questioned the amount AFTER HER SON had already told me they have had the issue before and it's supposed to be explained when ordering it that they are separate not inclusive. The owner lady told me they have NEVER had that problem before and that its not her fault I assumed it was all together because a slash means "OR". Place has become a dump. No wonder employee turn over rate is still so high there. Not once ever apologized. All she said was "I'm sorry you ASSUMED it was all inclusive but that's your fault for not knowing a slash (/) means "or" and proceeds to WALK OFF talking loudly with tables now between us without even trying to make this right. Plus they have stand up fans around the building blowing the air, dust, dirt, etc all around which could land on your food. Very embarrassing. Spend your money elsewhere. Despite having noone in there when we got there, it took about 15 mins to even get our drinks. That should have been my sign to just leave. Don't make the same mistake I did! Support a business who puts customers first and doesn't cause a scene and call them stupid. Plus they charge almost 4% to use a card to pay. Guess where it's posted! ON THE DOOR AS YOU LEAVE not at the desk where you pay! They don't tell you before they run your card either. I only found out AFTER they ran my card. It's posted where you will see it after you already pay! Why not post it by the cash register? To sneaky and a really crappy owner! Idk how they stay in business.

Food was subpar, shrimp had a weird taste and the restaurant didn't seem very clean. Probably won't eat there again :(

Would give them a minus star if I could. No matter where I go I get the worst service ever!! Now I remember why I haven't eaten herein months....don't waste your time or money.....
