Bay Flats Lodges

We experienced a great family fishing trip at Bay Flats Lodge. Me and my two sons-in- law arrived on a Monday evening to gourmet cooking, beginning with appetizers, followed by double cut pork chops, and then a delicious desert.The lodge rooms were very comfortable with queen size beds and luxury Marriott bedding. Super nice for high class hotel, much less a fish camp!Then on Tuesday we experienced a fantastic day of fishing with Captain Jeremy, who is a first class guide. We went home with a nice mess of fish, including: red fish, black drum, and blue catfish. We caught many more fish, with some too small to keep and some too large to keep, including a 31" long red fish.We will be back that is a fact. We highly recommend Bay Flats Lodge for a great experience.

Spent the Father's Day weekend with my son at Bay Flats. The staff, accommodations and food were tremendous. Our fishing guide, Julian Martinez, was by far the most knowledgeable and patient guide we've ever worked with. He knew where to take us and was always attentive to our needs. It was an epic weekend with many fishing tales and pics of our catch to share. At the resort, Patsy (evening) and the morning staff (didn't catch their names)were wonderful.

If you're looking for a great fishing experience than look no further. Bay Flats had mastered everything. From the moment you arrive you're greeted with smiling faces and wonderful attitudes. The service is top notch and there a nothing to left to be desired. If you need or want it, they have it. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. They also pack you lunch and water for your fishing trip. The jalapeño sweet bread sandwich is one of the best sandwich breads I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

First class from the moment you pull in. This beautiful lodge located a 100 yards from the boat ramp is the perfect fishing destination for novice to the experts. The rooms are amazing and the staff is so dedicated to make sure every minute of your stay is unforgettable. Not to mention the first class meals. The two bone French pork chop is white table cloth worthy. Now let's talk about the fishing Captain Steve our guide was as good a guide as I have ever fished with. I had my 9 year old daughter with me and he answered all 6000 questions she asked and helped her every minute of our trip.

We arrived the evening before and had a great rib eye dinner. The rooms wee comfortable and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic! The biscuits were scratch made and sausage gravy was a perfect way to start our fishing day. We had a big group and nearly everyone caught their limit. After docking, all our fish were cleaned and put into zip lock bags on ice. Bring a cooler! You will need one to keep all the fish fresh on the trek home.

Absolutely 5 star plus stay. I recently stayed at one of the beautiful homes provided by the Bay Flats Lodge and could not be happier. The staff and owner were class acts and were totally accommodating. Captain Todd was the guide we we assigned (best guide there, maybe a little bias) he immediately put us on some good fishing. The wind picked up to the point we could not fish the bay anymore... this however was not a problem for Todd who took us to some little spots he knew that were out of the wind. I will absolutely be returning for another round as soon as possible!

I fish a lot, I have stayed in places that I prefer to forget. Now I come here and to say the bar has been raised is an understatement. A very professional staff where you are their biggest priority. Food is excellent and the accommodations are better than half the hotels I stay in weekly. A+

Down to talking to Angie, over the phone to being welcomed by TJ, the mouthwatering food, and if you haven't been, the website doesn't do it justice, the actual location is even better. To all the wives, this luxury fishing resort is being used as a location to host your husband's affair. My husband's affair partner is "special friends" with the man hosting the trip on 11/9/24-11/14/24. If a certain number of people are booked on the trip by the host, then the host can bring a cohost. The affair partner booked my husband for this trip, with the intent of going for free. Between the cohost and my husband, I'm sure she wouldn't have had to pay for anything. Wives...be aware!
