I like the food here especially the brisket. Don't ever order soda here though, something is wrong with it and it tastes horrible. They are also very expensive, for two people to eat is always $50.

Nothing fancy. Small restaurant. Clean. Super friendly staff. I have stopped in 2 times while traveling South, for to go BBQ. Since trying to do keto, ordering the meat by weight was the best option for me. They have an extensive menu of sandwiches and BBQ plates too though. The price point for meat by weight was very reasonable. I have had the sliced brisket, cajun turkey and sausage link. All flavorful, tasty, tender, fresh tasting and juicy. I couldn't believe how juice the sausage link was! And its big! They have a little "gift store" available to browse while you wait for your order, with a lot of hand made gifts available for purchase. I have yet to use the restroom here, but everything else was very clean.

This is a Texus family style resting. BBQ is authentic smoked meat. Good dry rubbed ribs however the sauce could have a little more body. I cheat and brown bag my favorite. The sausage is good but not grilled or smoked. Would pass on that one. Brisket is also fantastic. With the combos if you do not fill up, mention it and they will give you a second helping. For accompanying there are home made coolers. Also they serve breakfast in the AM and the biscuits are the best in the area.

WOW! You have to stop here. Get the wagon master plate. More than enough food for 2. All the meats had awesome flavor and very tender. I made sure I got some ribs and turkey to go for later it was so good.The wait staff was super friendly and helpful

Great BBQ I always stop by when passing threw. It's a bit pricy but always fresh. The chop beef sandwich and por boy are my favorite. You can also buy meets by the pound.

It was very tasty all around, everything we tried. Just a little dry on the brisket maybe but perhaps that's unavoidable? When you have quite a bit of demand and my guess is it was in an aluminum foil ready on the side to be cut and kept warm which may have dried it out a little. Very tasteful potato salads also with a load of pepper!

Just spent $30 on a lame "grilled" chicken salad, chewy "grilled" chicken taco and flavorless "grilled" chicken sandwich. Bill Miller's would have been a much better option for the meal we just had here. Save your money and go somewhere else if you are looking for authentic Texas Barbeque. Nothing we ate here tasted like it has even touched a bbq grill. On a lighter note the staff was friendly and welcoming. By the way Choke Creek BBQ is just one exit away and they serve gator bites!

Stoped for some barbecue what used to be Van's BBQ. Very delicious food, ribs were great. Price wise Average great service, peach cobbler..., delicious. I highly recommend this place.
