Very disappointed my first time working out in the facility. No issue with my attire was brought to my attention as I walked in... stood at the front desk and had a 2 min conversation with the lady... walked past 3 people wearing YMCA shirts ( to whom I gave a cheerful good morning). Then halfway through my 1st set one of the 3 people aforementioned interrupts me to tell me the lady at the front desk failed to tell me I couldn't wear a crop top but I was okay to finish because my high rise tights covered my skin... oh and it's a new rule because some of the MEN (really?! Ohhhkay) didn't like them.Well, I won't be returning and I will be making sure that everyone I know knows that apparently we aren't there to workout but instead the "men" can observe and pass judgement on females attire. Just pathetic!Oh and so you have a visual... Arm raised to mimic the front shoulder raises I was doing at the time of notification.

What a great place. I was in town visiting family and stopped in. I showed them the card from my area and they simply filled out a piece of paper, logged me into the system and I was off and running. The gym itself upstairs is well equipped. The weights are a little out dates, but the elliptical and treadmills were top of the line. Great stretching room. Racquet Ball, Basket Ball and cycling all available. At the time, the pool was under repair, so can not vouch for that. The men's locker room is really nice. They have a dry and wet sauna as well as a hot tub and shower area. There is also a nice lounging area.Staff was fantastic and the place is very clean.

Terrible customer service. Every time me and my sons work out here, we are constantly interrogated about age limits, if we have done the proper classes, our weight, etc. Never again will I go here. Much better gyms around town. The morning front counter lady is excessively mean and never in a good mood.

No towels available in men's locker room for showering or sauna activities. Also no water fountain in the men's locker room. Towels are available for 3 dollar purchase at front desk. Don't waste your money go to Health plex instead! Much cleaner and has all the amenities. For about to same price!

Constantly harassed about my workout attire, when I see other women wearing the same outfits I am. I am not showing excessive skin but have been asked to wear one of the instructor's t-shirt (that is DISGUSTING) and I blatantly refused. I am sick of women's bodies being sexualized or the older community deeming other people's attire as inappropriate. They target certain women in the facility and will call you out in front of other guests. I even had a woman working out NEXT to me on the stair master call out the guy on the floor working, and basically, we both told him to leave us alone. Pesky, sexist and rude. I fully intend on taking this to the CEO and letting this small town know on any social media site how they are there!

We are members at the Framingham MA branch of the YMCA, and had the pleasure of visiting this branch on a couple of occasions when we were visiting family in TX. We simply showed our MA membership cards, and were able to use the TX branch for free for the week!We only used the pool, but it was WONDERFUL - there were canopies to keep at least some of the pool in the shade, water slides that my daughter absolutely loved, fun music playing, and a snack bar!All the staff (and the members as well) were friendly and welcoming. This YMCA was a great part of our vacation!
