We chose Water Street to cater our wedding a few years ago and there was very little they did right. Firstly, food was served before anyone arrived and was cold by the time our guests began to eat. They were suppose to bring 2 kegs of beer to the event, however they "couldn't open them" so they bought bottled beer instead. This would have been fine if they bough the equivalent of 2 kegs, but they didn't do beer was in short supply. We had the venue until midnight and they began pulling the plug at 11:15 because clearly they were running the show and not the venue. It just seemed like the person in charge had a hot date that night and was trying to get out of there. Had I know we were inconveniencing them, I would have chosen anyone else... like McDonalds. Unprofessional, overpriced and shambolic.
