One Star is pushing it for this sorry excuse for a lawyer.Heaven help any person who gets assigned this woman as their ad lidem. She does not give a damn about the elderly person, she charges exorbitant fees and refuses to work with family members who care. She will happily harass and berate anyone who tries to challenge her fees, opinions, or recommendations. If you get on her bad side she WILL make your life a living hell at the expense (both financially and emotionally) of the person she is assigned to "protect". She should not be practicing law at all because she does not adhere to a moral code, she abuses her status as a lawyer, and at the very least does not do her job - which is to protect the person she is assigned.Carol Bailey is a bottom-feeder. If you care about the elderly person in your life and she is assigned as their lawyer, immediately request someone else.

They need a zero star option. After contacting Carol Bailey's office and giving a rundown of our situation, I felt as though I had a positive and promising conversation. I was told I would receive some paperwork to fill out and return to help the attorney get some information and have a consultation to review options for my aging and now paraplegic mother. I returned the form and that is where everything just stopped. After not hearing anything for a couple of days, I contacted the office again and was told Ms. Bailey had the form and would look it over soon and contact me. Several more days and no contact, so I called yet again. Same result. Promised to call me back and never did. No explanation, no call or email just to let me know that we hadn't been forgotten. After a few more WEEKS, I finally called one last time to see if there was any real reason for the lack of communication. There was not. I was told the folder was still there in the office. So I finally told them to forget - by this time we had taken another route and gotten things done. One of the least professional experiences I've ever had. By the way, I asked the assistant I spoke with last if they had anything on social media or Yelp and was told, "No." Obviously that was not true.....cannot warn against this attorney enough.

After one consultation (which should have been free) she charged me $300.00 (she hinted at charging me $600.00), but after being pressured, I agreed to $300.00 (big mistake!)she told me that it would be $7500.00 for her to handle my mothers simple Medicaid application process. That is an grossly exorbitant amount I did not get a good feeling about this women, and I got out of there as fast as I could. she is just a vulture waiting to devour everything that is left for the taking. I checked around and found a attorney that would handle the case for 1/4 of her price. do not seek out this woman
