B & J's Pizza

It's been years but this was seriously one of the best pizzas I've ever had in Texas. I really have to make a trip back to Corpus just for some pizza!

Food is great. Wings are fantastic Price is reasonable le Ambience is great for celebrating anything

- took like an hour to receive food (even though it was just a plain cheese pizza)- vibes were a little cozy, at least during christmas time since there were lights and stuff- staff was nice- food was decent

This place is great. Me and my lady love coming here. Anchovies, red bell peppers, pineapple. Drop mic.

We were craving pizza while we were in Corpus Christi and my girlfriend said BJ's was the best because she's from Corpus Christi so I was like OK let's try that. It was me my girlfriend and her daughter Kali so we ordered a pepperoni pizza because we all like pepperoni. We went from the North Padre Island over to corpus to pick it up real quick.It was delicious as promised by my girlfriend. It was the perfect mix between crispy and chewy and the crust was delicious and of course the pepperoni hit the spot.

Pizza and wings were good, but the those definitely were not good cheese sticks...Seems like someone got lazy in the cooking department because there was no cheese pull when biting into the cheese stick... and what was up with the breading? Usually when eating cheese sticks it's slightly crispy... definitely pass on those. The wings were good nicely fried and sauce was good. They weren't tough to eat like some wings. Pizza was delicious! Loaded with the toppings and the dough was cooked to perfection.

Great pizza and the sea salt and pepper wings are awesome! Pizza had the perfect blend of toppings to crust. Wings were cooked perfectly.

Pros- The Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt wings are extremely delicious- The pizza quality seems to have improved over time- Long wait for the pizza to be made, but it's hot and fresh when servedCons- no fountain drinks, just canned drinks- No ice machine, have to get ice from a small bucket with a scoop at the front counter- Napkin quality is cheap and could be better- long wait time for pizza if it's mildly busyAlthough there are more cons than pros, I'm giving this 4 stars because the quality of their pizza and wings seems to have noticeably improved over time. The wings and pizza are hot and tasty. Good food is usually the minimum I expect. Nice job B&J.

My wife and I were in Corpus for a weekend. On Friday we ate at B & J's Pizza Brew Pub. I wrote a Yelp review for the brew pub and my only criticism was there were a LOT of dirty tables, and not one single clean table. Today we tried B & J's original location. It was just before 5:00 pm on Monday and there were hardly any customers. But there were plenty of dirty tables! Personally I don't get it. If it were my place I'd want to be clean. To me the dirty tables, especially during a slow time, indicate a lack of pride in the workspace. This is the first thing new customers see. Their first impression of the restaurant. But that's just my pet peeve. I guess this works for B & J. Luckily the food is great. We had pizza and wings and both were excellent. Definitely a place we will return when in Corpus. Maybe by then they'll have bused our table from today.

A good selection of beer, customer service and a nostalgic atmosphere but the pizza dough is tough as a leather shoe. I don't remember it being like that in the 90's.
