If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff when I initially bought my vehicle (in 2020) was very friendly and forthcoming, but once my vehicle was paid for and signed I was thrown to the side. The person who referred me never got their bird dog; I think what they do is just pass it along to their friends or family. When I had an issue with my vehicle and took it in they were able to fix one of the problems I had, but were unable to figure out what was wrong with my second issue. Mind you i took my vehicle in Jan. 2021. When I learned a lot of people were having issues with the same model/year vehicle I called to let them know. What they weren't able to figure out, Port Lavaca knew right away what needed to be done with my uncles Denali. He told me at Easter and I called Autonation today and I was told my car was already out of warranty (by 4000 miles)and said nothing could be done. Incompetent staff, long wait times, and once you sign they could care less. I would go else where.

Below average knowledge of GMC autos on behalf of the sales person but that's attributable to him starting a career in auto sales not but one week prior. To that point, the dealership should do a better job training sales people prior to releasing them. Nevertheless bought a vehicle. Paid for it on day 1 but was not able to drive my car off the lot until until day 6 due to a non-mechanical and non-safety-related service bulletin. I checked the recall website and it said there was nothing for my VIN. I then talk to someone at corporate about the recall/service bulletin in question and they cannot find any record of anything recall or service bulletin issued for my VIN. The agent promises to call me the next day and never called back. They then put me in a loaner of the same model but one year older than the one I purchased which was something of an olive branch I suppose. Three days later I get a call that I can come pick up my auto. They did back date the sale. I am not happy with this sale but my sales guy was super attentive and communicative. I will never buy a car from this place again.

What a bunch of crooks. I purchased a car from them a month ago that arrived with all 4 wheels damaged. Pierre the general manager agreed to get them fixed so I hired a wheel company to handle that here in my hometown and of course they wanted payment up front. I paid them and sent the invoice to my salesman for reimbursement. Weeks later I still haven't seen a check, and today I find out they sent the money to the wheel company who is shut down due to coronavirus. I also am shut down and need the funds to feed my family. Never again will I deal with these thieves.

June 13th called and set up an appointment to check my wife's 2023 Traverse. Specifically noted to the service tech that answered the phone that I was from out of town (West of Sinton), about an hour's drive to and from. I advised I was going to wait at the facility while it was looked at/diagnosed and hopefully fixed. I was told that was not a problem. Based on that, my appointment was set for June 17th @ 7am. (you say your calls are recorded...go back to June 13th around 1030 am and check for your self.)Per my appointment date/time, on June 17th I arrived at the AutoNation South Chevrolet location. The doors were locked but the ladies were inside. When they opened they initially couldn't find my information, but did after some looking. They told me to go across the lot to another building to visit with Jason Wilson. I asked for him to come over here, but that didn't happen. I ended up driving over there to find and speak with him (Customer Service?) I was told it would be 2 to 3 days for the car to even be looked at. I went over what I was told when I initially scheduled my appointment and basically it was a too bad/too sad event. I was told the girls over there did not know what to do. Again, I explained based off originally setting the appointment and confirming said appointment was actually an appointment, where the new car could get service I made the almost hour trip in to be told the girls don't know what they are talking about and that it would be 2 to 3 days before the car could get looked at. As the customer, whether the girls know what to do is irrelevant to me, that's an internal problem that should be addressed internally and not broadcast to the customers. As to 2 or 3 days, that wasn't what I was told when scheduling the appointment. Just thinking....the appointment was for what? That doesn't say much. A total lack of customer service. I am out my time (2 hours), money and efforts to have warranty work done only to be messed around like this. Chevrolet customers/AutoNation customers deserve better that that. That is just not right. Again, it was a too-bad/too-sad affair. Least we not forget, customer are the reason businesses stay in business. Customers drive the sale/s of vehicles and customers drive the repair of vehicles. Without customer it doesn't work. Mess customers around and see them go elsewhere. All of this and you could have stepped up to the plate and done the right thing. But, that didn't happen! Poor FormAn utter disappointment!

Dropped off my vehicle yesterday at the scheduled appt time. I was told when dropping it off it would take 7-10 business days to even get looked at. What kind of practice is this? This is poor planning! What is the point of a schedule appointment if you are not even going to look at the vehicle for 7-10 days. We have lives, we work. Then you dont offer loaners? I will never bring my vehicle to this place again. This has made me never want to buy a vehicle at this location ever again!

I am 64 years old, and I have purchased dozens of new cars in my lifetime. The experience that I have had w/ Autonation Chevrolet Corpus Christi is the worst I've had in my life. I purchased a 2024 Corvette Coupe Z06/Z07, @ $25,000 over MSRP. I now have an opportunity to buy a new 2025 Corvette ZR1, and thought I would sell the Z06 because I would not need both. Well, I cannot sell the Z06 because the warranty will be null & void. I was never told this by anyone @ Autonation, nor did I sign anything agreeing to such terms. I have tried contacting them a dozen times w/ no response whatsoever. They tell me that I will get a call back from the General Manager, but they NEVER call me back. I have spoken w/ a GM representative, and they said they would file a complaint against them for not having me sign the agreement regarding the 6-month warranty restriction. This does me not good at all. DO NOT trust this dealership. After they have your money, they move on and simply do not care.

i purchased a Honda crv there in nov2022. I am a senior citizen and they took advantage of my trusting nature. They asked me to sign paperwork stating they gave me the car fax, which was a lie, among other things that are crooked. The salesman couldn't even look me in the eye when I left. I wasn't given time to read anything before signing. I was extremely disappointed in the car, the dealership, and the salesman. Don't ever trust them to be fair. Honesty is just not how they roll. They should be ashamed.

My GMC truck needed to have a couple sensors changed. I've had it done before, and it takes about an hour. I phoned the dealership on Saturday, and made an appointment for the following Monday. I told the call taker that I would be waiting there while the work was done. When I arrived on Monday, it was revealed to me that my 'so called' appointment was only to 'talk' to a service advisor, David Flores! He informed me that my only choice was to drop my vehicle off there, for THREE TO FIVE DAYS! That is obviously completely out if the question, as I am camped 30 miles away, and no loaner vehicle was possible! I went on the dealership website, and read all the glowing reviews! But there is no possible way to add your own reviews. Obviously, they only print favourable reviews, many of which appear fake. I told them that I would wait as long as it takes to make a guaranteed appointment, but was told that was not possible. Of course, I will never visit that business again, and suggest you may want to look elsewhere for your service needs. They were polite, but that doesn't get any work done.
