Asian Gourmet

We ate at the Asian gourmet in Alice,Texas. This piece of a brillo cleaning pad was in my Beef and broccoli. It got stuck in my throat and I reach in back of my throat and pulled it out. I used to love that place, but no more. Be careful if you eat there. The health department has been noted. My throat in back has a puncture,one on each side where it was stuck . I'm feeling sick in my stomach.

Try the house special soup it's delish! I personally get it without beef and it's perfect! I give the soup itself a solid 4 star

I went there today with my service dog and was, at first, refused entry and wasn't going to be able to eat. The older lady in there was the one telling me that I couldn't have my service dog in there. This is in Alice, Tx. A younger gentlemen had walked over and the two were talking while the hostess, myself, and my service dog was standing there. The younger gentlemen and the older woman walked off, then she came back and said it was fine and told the hostess to put me off in the corner away from everyone (this isn't a problem at all since it's better for my service dog anyways). As the hostess was walking me over she had some silverware in her hand that I thought was mine, I was wrong. She sat it on another table and just told me to go sit in the section over there (pointed in the direction I needed to go) after asking me for my drink. I walked to the table, sat down and waited for her to bring me my drink and silverware. She brought me my drink but no silverware. So I went ahead and went to the buffet area and got my food. When I got back to the table, still no silverware. I went ahead and started to eat. I grabbed my chicken on a stick and it was so cold it was nasty. The hottest thing I got was the sweet and sour sauce for my spring rolls. Still no silverware and waitress no where to be found, I just used the stick that the cold chicken was on to grab on to some of the food that I clearly needed a fork with. Needless to say I didn't finish my food and I won't be back. So disappointing because I had been in there several times before with my service dog and NEVER had this experience that I did today. For $14.60, I'll save the hassle and take my money elsewhere for better food and service. It was a little warm in there, the booths need to be replaced as they are falling apart. Very, very disappointed.

Just ate here and the food is colder the weather outside. I asked for a discount and was told others also asked but there was nothing they could do. Last time I eat there.

i recommend that you come in the middle of the day to get more hot foods and ask the waiters and dont make them mad they are nice and they are not saying bad words to the customers there are some language issues but overall its good and monday-saturday is lunch time 11-4pm it is lunch time after that it is dinner time and then sunday is all day dinner time and they have a very chill waiter at saturday and sunday only and hes very cool and the waiters in Asian gourment you may think that they are saying bad things they are actually not they are only giving directions to each others there are also different prices during the day so be sure to eat at a specific time at the day

This buffet looks delicious... but at noon the food on it was cold! It had not been warmed before placing under heat lamps. Disgusting! The sodas also tasted bad... I will not be back!

It was really really good! I was surprised because of how it looks from the outside. The sushi was great, all the food had great flavor. Only thing off was the waiter, he was awkward but doesn't mean he was not taking care of our needs. I'm not from this town and this place has always seemed like just an old building when we visit but after tasting the food I'm coming back and taking my mom and sister.

"Sit, eat, pay and go" was how their staff made us felt. Two of my friends got sick after eating their food. Their stuffed crabs and stuffed shrimp tasted like left-overs from previous day(s). What a disappointing experience!
