Ascuba Venture

We ventured into Ascuba Venture... pun intended and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The owner of the shop, Sid, introduced himself and took the time to get to know us to direct us on the right path for our diving needs. We learned that the shop is a veteran-owned small business and many of their employees are veterans, which I always try to patronize. I have been diving for 30+ years and enjoy seeing what different dive shops have to offer. I also enjoy diving with a shop I resonate with. Sid, the owner of the shop, led us on a tour, and he even took us to the back so we could see where the hydro testing and visual testing were performed. There is definitely something for everyone at this shop. Whether you're a novice or expert they offer a wide range of services, including open water certification, specialty courses, equipment sales/rentals (spearfishing/dive equipment) and service, free diving, swim program, my favorite....mermaid training. * The bonus is that they have their pool on site. Having gotten a certification without a pool on site this is a big deal, as you won't have to carry your gear back and forth to a separate location. There are also plenty of international packaged dive trips that have been put together by the shop. So, if you do not enjoy planning all the logistics, the shop will do all the dive travel planning. Prices are competitive and similar in costs to my local dive shops in Arizona. If you're looking for a fun and knowledgeable dive shop to learn to scuba dive or to get your equipment serviced, I highly recommend Ascuba Venture.

I came in and was immediately greeted and welcomed into a shop offered me to do a try scuba ended up buying the full package and now I love diving love underwater love seeing and being around the people that work at the shop and other divers. Brittany has a amazing attudite and welcomes everyone no matter what.

Wanted to warn divers about a scam run by Ascuba Ventures in Corpus Christi TX. I needed a front cover for a regulator and they told me that to replace the front cover they would have to overhaul the first and second stages. That is an outright lie. Stay away from them.

We needed an O ring at 7:05 pm. I called the shop and they were technically closed. The girl on the phone said they would stay open for us to run by and grab one. We sent our adult kids to grab it because they were closer to the shop. They gave the kids the O ring for free...AFTER staying open late. We will definitely go there for all our diving needs!!! Awesome customer service!!!!!

I joined my husband on an Ascuba Venture organized dive trip to Little Cayman Beach Resort the first week of October. It was a wonderful adventure. Trip Leader and dive instructor from ASCUBA, Brittany Butler, was EXCELLENT! She's very organized, smart, friendly, considerate and savvy. In my opinion, a good time was had by all. No incidents, all were safe, everything we were told about the resort was true (thanks, Brittany). We functioned like a well oiled machine due to her leadership and the fantastic staff at Little Cayman Beach Resort. M. C. Reeves

I have never been afraid of "what's in the water", but afraid of "the water!" I have always felt foolish, and embarrassed about this fear, The staff here has helped me tremendously get over that fear, and gain the confidence to experience the wonderful world of the water. Thank you to the entire staff, especially Gus! I have told everyone I can that this is the place to go!!
