Artistic Nails

Starting to think all the nail salons around here are absolute garbage. I guess I'm happy my fill was $30 opposed to the usual $40 at Cali Nail's. I went in with super long pointy nails. I asked if she could cut them down and keep them pointy. She said no (?!) and then suggested that I do a coffin shape. I agreed and apparently her dead loved ones are put into rectangle coffins......

I made an appointment for Saturday for both my mother-in-law and myself (medí/pedi). Upon arrival we were asked about whether we made an appointment, which is fair. We where then quickly asked to pick a color. Right away I noticed there weren't many employees . We were then asked to sit at the spa chairs. I had to sit idly at a chair while the male employee took care of my mother-in-Law. He wasn't very gentle with her but she didn't mind as it was her first pedicure of her life. A woman arrived about 15 min in to the shop. She was coughing some so she might have been called in? Who knows. The problem here is that the reason most places have patrons make an appointment is so they anticipate and make arrangements. So my mother in law was done first and was then taken to the side tables for a manicure. I won't go into the details of my manicure ... I finished after my mother in law and waited about 15-20 min for it to dry. By the time I arrived home one nail was messed up. By the time I was 10- min settled at home, two more nails where messed up. Needles to say that I unpolished them. I will not come back here and I hope that they do improve their business. I will say that for the woman who know what they want and have all the nail jargon down, it seems like they attend them well. Maybe it's because it's more expensive and prioritized? Hope this was helpful.

I have never met someone so aggressive with my legs as I did for my pedicure today. This man would literally lift my leg and slam it down instead of placing it. Hot stones were lukewarm at best. He put the steaming hot towel on me without testing the temperature first. And then my biggest pet peeve- nails were not filed to a good shape and the entire toenail was not covered. Now I get to leave $60+ later with toenails that already look grown out (: We had an appointment and it still took 30min+ for 2 in our group to even get some water in their tub.

Artistic Nails on Staples in Corpus Christi is the best 1-stop nail salon for manicure, pedicure, and eyelashes. The massage chair is the very best, the atmosphere is the best yet, and the customer service is excellent.

I've been to a lot of nail skins in the last decade and this is simply the best! Have been getting gel manicures from An for over 10 years and my nails always come out flawless and last for around four weeks! I'll never go anywhere else!

I didn't get any names but the two ladies working were awesome. They pulled out all the stops when they realized it was my dads first pedicure ever. They did an awesome job on our toes and were so kind and helpful with my dad. He was uncomfortable when we first went in but they were so welcoming and did such a great job he wants to make it a regular thing.

Service was very unwelcoming when I entered. I was immediately asked what I wanted. Then when I responded, they said do you have an appointment? I told them no. Everybody looked around like "who's going to take this girl" but nobody really seemed interested in my business. Then, because there was some issue with the internet, they asked me to pay in the middle of my pedicure. I was getting a pedicure with my SNS taken off. I was then charged $20 to have my SNS removed. I normally go to ProNails on the other side of town, but figured this wasn't anything special and they're closer to my house. Now I know why this place isn't busy. I can soak my SNS in acetone at home...$20 is ridiculous. I feel like I was only charged that much because I'm not a regular customer here. You could have had a regular customer, but there's no way I would return with that level of customer service and prices. You could have had a regular customer who comes in every two weeks. Not only did the service suck, the $30 pedicure didn't even come with a massage. I'll stick with pronails on alameda. Much better service and reasonable prices! I'll be surprised if this place lasts another year.
