I ordered flowers through FTD and they ended up not being delivered through the first florist it went to so I demanded another. Artist Flowers was sent the order approximately 1:15pm and they were to my mother who is about 20 minutes away by 2pm. THEY LOOKED HORRIBLE! My 7 year old could have done better. It literally looked like they had grabbed a hand full of flowers cut the bottoms and just threw them in the vase and ran out the door. It was a disshoveled mess! And then they had the nerve to call my mother and complain that FTD was making them redo the arrangement. Yes they called the recipent and complained to them!!!!This company is completely unprofessional. Their website claims "Artistic Flowers has been proudly serving Portland, Texas since 1990. I ordered a Mother's Day Floral arrangement for my mother in law and wanted to use a local florist since I live in Portland and like to shop local whenever I can. I placed the order over the phone and was assured that the arrangement would be delivered to my mother in law's office on Friday. By Friday afternoon I'd not heard from my MIL so I called the florist to ask if the flowers had been delivered. The person who I spoke to that afternoon assured me that the flowers had been delivered. That same evening I called my Mother in Law and she told me that she didn't receive any flowers. I called Artistic Flowers twice on Saturday and was finally told that they would redeliver the flowers if I wanted them to. I decided that I wanted to get my money back and to cancel the order since my MIL was not going to be home and the whole situation was turning into more trouble than it was worth.Monday I called the office to follow up with my refund and was surprised at the response that I received. The owner got on the phone and was ready for a fight before the conversation was ever started. She was sarcastic and rude from the get go. She told me that I was not clear that they were going to deliver the flowers to a business when I placed the order and she told me that she called me and left me a message that the flowers had not been delivered on Friday evening When I explained that I called on Friday and was told that the order had been complete, she said that she called me and left me a message on Saturday and insisted that this was the reason that I'd called her. I told her that I called her on Saturday because I'd left a message with their 24 hr answering service and hadn't heard back from them, nor had I received any messages about the order. I then told her that I was told that my money was going to be refunded to me on Saturday and the woman got upset and told me "Ugh, what do you want me to do? I don't know what you want. If you want a refund I will give you the refund"I told her that I was upset that my order was messed up and upset that in the four conversations that I had with her office, no one apologized for the mixup or for the inconvenience and that I didn't appreciate the rudeness that she responded with. This statement was answered with, "Well, what do you want" and finally said "I'm sorry then, there you go, what else can I do for you".I then asked her for a refund for the flowers, which she said would get charged back to my credit card. She then very sarcastically thanked me for my business and told me to have a nice day.From what I understand, this is typical of the customer service provided by Artistic Flowers. They treat their customers poorly and are lacking in professionalism, manners and general people skills, which is ironic since they are in the service industry. I doubt that they would still be in business were they not the only florist in town. Next time I will use a different delivery service. If I am going to be treated rudely and with such lack of courtesy I will happily take my business elsewhere.

Artistic Flowers in Portland, TX is my go to florist whenever I want to order flowers, plant or gift basket for someone. They always make the order personalized and special, whether it is local delivery or an order placed for an out of state family member. Sometimes I even call them to order holiday floral arrangements for my own home. Their floral staff is always friendly and helpfu! I highly recommend Artistic Flowers!

By far and away my worst experience with a florist ever. Linda was immediately defensive, rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly...if you're going to have all of that on the negative side, you might get away with it if the floral displays were out of this world. It was 'meh' and I'm not fussy about flowers. I am fussy about how humans should treat each other; I couldn't recommend this store or this person to anyone.
