Art Center of Corpus Christi

Signed up for the clay magic class, turned into a problem. I would not recommend taking this course with Adam and his girlfriend. It was very Dis-Organized, and non communicative. It was very upsetting to say the least. They have too much going on to even try and focus on this class. That's really too bad !! Steer clear.

Lots of amazing art that's for sale and a few studios. I took lots of pics and I'll share a few or a couple dozen, they are worth the look. Next time we visit we'll go earlier so we can look at all the cool stuff.

Free and open to the public, with several art galleries, a gift shop, and cafe, and outside courtyard for receptions. Lovely place to stop in while sightseeing in Corpus Christi! Definitely recommend eating lunch at the Citrus Bistro cafe - great food and nice view of the docks.

3 prime galleries and 3 smaller galleries with exhibitions of regional art that change monthly. All kinds of art classes for adults and kids plus many workshops: painting, drawing, clay, basketry, singing, yoga...always something new and fun. Desiree's by the Bay is one of CC's best kept seafood secrets, open for lunch but trying out Fri/Sat dinners Nov. 2010.On First Friday ArtWalk route, plus monthly openings for art shows...best of all:Admission is always FREE!

The Art Center of Corpus Christi is free, you can buy local art by diverse artists, different exhibit in their main gallery monthly, art and pottery classes, beautiful venue for your wedding, birthday parties and more! They also host Corpus Christi Downtown Farmers Market every Wednesday 5pm - 8pm. Free Family Art Time is every Wednesday 5pm-7pm and Saturday 10am - 2pm a different art project to create each time. Oh and they have a gift shop located inside Studio C and Citrus Bistro restaurant with the view of the Marina! What more can you ask for?!

The Art Center of Corpus Christi is a great place to find local original art. Corpus Christi is blessed with a wealth of talented artists and many of them display their work here. Styles and subject matter vary and change frequently prices are very reasonable and admission is free. The in house restaurant has great food and offers a beautiful view of the marina.
