Volleyball area
The kiddie pool area looked nice, but it was closed today.
The stairs
Not a lot of space if people are playing volleyball here
My daughter did enjoy the slides
There are easy access stairs exiting the slide area, but you enter the pool from there.
Diving boards
4ft swim area with diving area past the ropes.
Kiddie pool area was closed today

What an amazing little slice of paradise! Aransas Pass Aquatic Center is THE place to go to take a dip and cool off during the dog days of summer. My two daughters, 3 grandchildren and myself made some fabulous memories this past weekend here. There are 3 pools. A HUGE pool for the little ones that our 4 year olds were able to stand in the entire time, lots of fun fountains, sprayers, slides etc., which was so much fun for us adults as well. A pool with 2 diving boards which includes a high dive, and a really fun rope net that goes from one side to the other to swing from. And a pool with 3 water slides! I'm telling ya, this place ROCKS!!!The staff were all friendly, bathrooms were pretty clean, plenty of lifeguards, concessions and very reasonably priced at $5 per adult and $4 per child. Can't wait to go back!

I'm sure this place is usually much better than this, but today was NOT a good day. First of all, the kiddie pool was closed which means everyone is crowding around in two small areas to swim and relax. And, then on top of that, in one of the small swimming areas is a place to play volleyball which if you take the risk to relax there you may end up being hit by a volleyball....which I was in the face. My bad for trying to relax there I guess. But, the only other place to try swim and relax is a space about 15'X15' to fit EVERYONE who wants to just relax. The other area of the pool is for diving. Of course there's the slides, but that's not my thing. And, what's with not having stairs to enter and exit the pools??? The ONLY one I saw was the one in the area where you exit from the slides. No easy entrance or exit from the other areas? Theres only these tile shelf kind of stairs inset into the side of the pool. That's all fine for younger people with no knee problems. So, I definitely would not recommend this for older people or people with knee problems, unless the kiddie pool area is open. And, it's $25 to rent a shaded picnic area during weekdays and $50 on weekends plus $3 per person. WTH?! And, you cannot bring in your own snacks. I guess it's lesson learned. We should have stayed in Corpus to swim and relax today. It's less than $10 there for the two of us, FREE shaded picnic areas and we could have swam and relaxed in plenty of space! If I EVER come back here again, I'll call first to see if the kiddie pool area is open.

This was a fun way to spend the day. The whole family enjoyed the water park. Worth the cost. Large kids pool/splash area with a little slide. Three larger water slides although one was closed and one was a little rough going down where the seams come together is a little uncomfortable. I liked that there was a deeper pool with diving board as well as separate pool that was only 3-3.5 ft so my 7yr old could stand and play as well. They don't allow food and drinks to be brought in, only water, however they do sell snacks and beverages at a small stand. Kept everyone busy and having fun for hours.

I've lived in the surrounding coastal bend all my life and never heard of this place until last weekend. My fiancé has been before so he took us there and I must say, I was very impressed! Such a nice weekend getaway with the family and a place for the kids to all have fun. The kiddie pool was just perfect for our 4 month old and the bigger kids enjoyed diving and going down the slides. I have such anxiety with the bigger water parks that this one kept me at ease. Not too big and not too small. We all had an absolute great time. We will definitely be going back!
