The 1 star reviews here concerning the current manager are entirely accurate. Although we were not "threatened" with eviction, our group witnessed one of the 1 star reviews recently described here. I feel obligated to post here simply for the fact of seeing good natured guest treated so poorly and rude. None of what we witnessed involved any rude behavior on the part of the paying customers. No drunkeness, or loud behavior in the least. Simple low key families, just as ours, with small children. Quite the opposite was true for the management. This was our 2nd or 3rd stay here and also our last. Our 2 unit rental group enjoyed an evening by the pool. Another very nice family group decided to do the same and were cooking food on a pool grill as we were. We were the only 2 groups at the pool. They were threatened with eviction by the manager using local law enforcement for their children losing their paper wristbands. The children were directly scolded by the management instead of the manager engaging with the parents directly. We watched in disbelief. Don't be fooled, hospitality is non existent here. We should've read the reviews before staying here.

What a breath of fresh air! After a nightmare stay at the North Beach CC Days Inn, we looked everywhere for a place to stay, but everything was booked. High season, duh. These ladies took our name, and just as we were heading back to Corpus Christi, we got a call with a vacancy 2 bedroom. We would have paid the same amount for one room on the beach, and this place was clean, cool, and very very nice. The ladies at the front desk are very personable, and we fell in love with their mascot, a doxie named Diesel! We hope to stay here again!!

The first night of our stay in a 2brm 2bath the shower temperature knob was broken. We had hot & hotter water. So i then took my kids into the master bath to shower. That shower was also not working properly. I was furious! My kids were tired & cranky. My in-laws were upset. The tv remotes didnt work. The living room ceiling fan didnt work. The knobs on the stove have to be turned in a certain way. The sheets were thinner than paper. The manager did resolve all the issues and did not compensate nor did she apologize for having soo many issues in one unit. We probably wont return

We have loved staying at aransas harbors for years. It has been our family's vacation spot up until this past weekend. The manager was so rude and inconsiderate. She confronted my children in the pool for no wristbands, even after I let her know they had fallen off from the salt, sand and sunscreen at the beach. She said I should have replaced them but nothing in the rules stated I needed to do this. When I asked to get more, she said the office was closed and if we didn't leave the pool she'd call the cops. We came this weekend for my daughters birthday and Mother's Day. They were all in tears. I'll be filing a complaint with the management and HOA. We hope things change so we can continue to stay there but until then, we'll be booking else where.Update 6/27/17: I sent in a letter to the HOA board along with the management company. I received a response from the management company and although appreciated the response, it further confirmed that this will not be a place that our family continues to vacation at.

10 out of 10 would not stay again. The manager "Sherry" is literally psychotic. Not friendly or welcoming to her guests. Completely unprofessional. The entire weekend she spent calling cops and making any effort to evict her guests. Her screaming and carrying on made us and many other guests incredibly uncomfortable.

PROS:close to the ferry - easy access within the port Aransas areavery clean inside - no stinky smellSwimming pool and hot tubQuiet community.Nice front desk ladyCONS:The washer/dryer that is pictured in the room (#218) in the virtual tour is not for the guests to use. This is very misleading and we told the manager as such. We did not find out about this rule until after we had already paid and checked into the room. No workout facility (besides tennis courts). Their website states: "Full Country Club Guest Privileges at Padre Isles Country Club" but that didn't happen nor was offered.Overall, it's a good place to stay - we were just a little miffed about the aforementioned couple of things being misleading. Overall, our impression was save your money and pay for an all inclusive resort in Mexico. The beaches are a ton more beautiful and its a lot better value overall.

Finding a good place to stay in Port Aransas is sometimes a daunting task; especially with so many places to choose from. I have rented condos here at Aransas Harbor for about a decade now, and with every visit, I was never let down as far as cleanliness, friendly staff and tenants, always a clean and beautiful swimming pool and hot tub, as well as always a quiet and peaceful vacation place. I haven't heard of any break ins or parties that have got out of hand during my stays here and there is never torn or ragged furniture. The only drawbacks I could see are that the washroom is only unlocked for permanent residents and if you travel with animals, it will be difficult being that no pets are allowed. I give Aransas Harbor a 5 star rating because they are consistent in their cleanliness, the upkeep of their beautiful location, and their great staff!

Stayed in 218 over Patriot Day weekend 9/9/16-9/11/16. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice pool and hot tub. Clean, well-equipped room. The towel and trash service was a really nice touch. The gentleman who handled that was very courteous and respectful. The location was great, being relatively close to the ferry landing. They have a clever system for getting room keys to visitors checking-in after the office closes. The staff also went above and beyond contacting me by email and phone to make sure I know how to get my room key since I was arriving after the office closed. All the front desk staff was as nice and polite as they could be. We did not hear a peep out of the neighbors and practically had the pool all to ourselves. I would definitely return, which is saying a lot since I live only 20 minutes from Galveston.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is really beautiful with all the amenities you would want however the "manager" is the rudest, craziest, most inconsiderate person I have ever had to deal with in my life! We rented a condo for memorial weekend and that night there were cops kicking someone out ( we didn't hear a peep so maybe their TV was too loud) the next day the "manager" who happened to live right across the hall from us told us we woke her up when one of our friends honked the horn outside, she was already awake drinking coffee outside so I'm not sure how we woke her up. She also was giving our friends a hard time for having a dog in the kennel outside in the truck, this was 9am and they were coming to see if we were ready for the beach yet. We told her those were not our dogs and they were not staying there as there is no pets allowed in the rooms. She continued to be rude to them so they left and we met up with them later on. When we return back to the room about 3 in the after noon to cool off in the pool and cook something, another girl we just met on the beach walked up with her dog and that's when the lady got psycho, I mean yelling like we had done something horribly wrong to her. We informed her that we just met the girl and they were not staying there and the girl left immediately with her dog. The "manager" still insisted she call the cops on us and have us evicted. Truth is I think she wanted to kick everyone out that was staying around her and keep their money like the thief she is. We tried to calm her down and invite her over for a bbq but she was yelling uncontrollably (we have this all on video for the lawsuit we will be pursuing). When the cops arrived we informed them of the situation, none of us were drunk or acting out for the record, even they knew she was crazy and apologized for the situation but they still had to enforce her decision of evicting us from the condo we spend over $800 and wouldn't give us a refund. To get a refund we would have to file with the JP. The cops even told us the best place on the beach to hang out, they were there to night before kicking someone else out and knew she was trying to steal good peoples money right from under them. All in all the condos were very nice and maybe others would have better luck as long as they are not placed next to her room which was 201. We were very upset with the way the "manager" handled the situation and herself...maybe she was on drugs because I've never seen someone throw such a fit over a dog being outside on the lawn. WORST PEOPLE ON THE ISLAND. Go to Shark Reef just down the road, those are really great people and will treat you right!!
