My first experience with Arandas taxi several months ago didn't go very well. I needed to go to the airport in the afternoon, so in the morning I scheduled a trip. My cab was late, but I waited for 15 minutes before i called. When I called the dispatcher to find out where my cab was, she said he was stuck in traffic. He ended up being 30 minutes late. Being stuck in traffic in corpus means you'll be 5 - 10 minutes late, not 30. He obviously hadn't left until after my pick up time. The courteous and professional thing to do when you're running late is to let the person know. That didn't happen.No one is perfect, so I thought I'd give them a second chance today. I asked if they could pick me up between 2:20 and 2:30 and they said yes. The same thing happened with the same excuse! This time, however, I couldn't wait 30 minutes for the cab so I drove myself, which is going to end up costing me over $100 for parking- a lot more than a $25 fare and keeping my car in my garage.The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the driver was very friendly the first time. But I won't use them again.

I`m very demanding when it comes to customer service and professionalism a company provides and I would like to say that Arandas Taxi exceeded my expectations today. The driver was on time and the vehicle was clean outside and inside. The were using a GPS system that automatically picks the fastest route but the driver still asked me if the planed route was ok. I paid with a credit card and it was processed in less than a minute and I even received an e-mail receipt on my phone with a copy of my signature and receipt. They use technology to assist customers better. They made me feel comfortable. I will start using this service more often.

I had to use a cab when my car broke down. The driver was super friendly and picked me up when the dispatcher said they would be there got me where I needed to go on time. The cab was clean and best of all did not wreak of smoke or vomit like some of the other cabs I've taken. I would definitely recommend them.

I like Arandas Taxi, my relatives travel from Florida to Corpus Christi very often, is the only company in Corpus Christi bilingual, the drivers are very polite and professional, their cars smell clean all time, my nice is asthmatic and she cant be around the cigarret smell we feel confidence to ride with Arandas also cause,when they drive they respect the speed limit. My relatives had a bad experience with other company they wiggle too much and drive over 80 miles on the way back to airport and the driver for this company dropped them off on the commercial line he was rude doing this. I recommend ARANDAS cause they honest with time and calls they don't let you there waiting long time to pick you up. This review does not reflect the quality of drivers. The drivers are good people. The pricing of these cabs are ridiculously expensive and fairs are set by the City of Corpus Christi.

For being locally owned and operated I would expect much more of a effort to please customers. I had used this service to ride home to airport. After 5-7miles of transport the driver received a call stating he had the keys to another drivers taxi who was also at the airport. The driver turned around and drove speeds in excess of the speedlimit while apologizing the whole time. After a call to the owner (who identified himself as "one of the owners") proved to be of no help nor did it become a concern to him. My safety was at jeopardy and also my interest in getting to location in a timely matter.

Love to use these guys, they are very reliable and friendly, from the person that answers the phones to the driver. When I use them for a ride to the airport or a night on town they arrive when they say they will and their cars are always clean. I will continue to use them as long as the great service continues. Great job!!!!

I took a less than 2 mile taxi ride. Paid for the taxi by debit card. My fare was 7.50. They charged 20.00 as a minimum fee. The driver said nothing about this and when I called to complain. They not only would not take off the additional charge but said it's posted somewhere in the taxi.
