Bought a Samsung washing machine beginning of September. Found out there was an issue with Samsung washing machine exploding, and I happened to have the model/serial number with this problem. Samsung referred us back to where we purchased it. Called Appliance Mart and they said it is a Samsung problem and they could not help us. Insisted we call the main store in Corpus to see if they could help. Nope, not their problem. Really? Not a great way to do business. Will NEVER use this place again or recommend it to anyone! Hoping they do not continue to sell them to unsuspecting people. Buyers beware!!!!!

we bought a window air conditioner/heater for $800 from appliance mart. 6 days later, welet them know that the unit wasn't working. it would heat, then start blowing cold air within a few minutes and then shut down. we wanted the unit replaced because we had spent $300 to get someone to help us get it installed. that is why it took us 6 days to let them know it wasn't working. they sent out portayers repair and they said it was a main board and control board that wasn't working. the manager at appliance mart said we had to go to frigidaire and get therewarranty to fix it. frigidaire said places like lowe's and best buy usually replace them within30 days if the product doesn't work. the portayers repairman wasn't good enough, so they sentout a repairman from williford's that said the same thing was wrong and would have to order parts. that has been one month from the time of purchase. appliance mart does not stand behind their merchandise and we will not be buying from them again. we have bought thousands of dollars of merchandise from them and a lot of frigidaire air conditioners, but never again.
