The food was amazing! This is real homemade food. The wait for the food is a little long but very worth the wait. We had Al pastor tacos and fish tacos, they hit the spot. I also had chicken noodle soup which was house made and not can, I was surprised and it was seriously good. I love these Mom and pop locations where it's focus is it's food.

We arrived with about 15 others at 11:00a.m., the only one's there. Took a long time to finally got our orders taken . Then a while to finally receive our meals. The fries with my order was cold while all of my gf's order was cold. We sent hers back but didn't get a replacement until after everyone had finished. We turned it back because we didn't want to wait any longer. We definitely will not be going back.

There customer service is slow horrible and forgetful of what or who and when people have walked in. We waited 10 min after ordering drinks then another 10 minutes after and still nothing other cisterns complaining missing items no amount of time the servers take to come by again person said he was don't with the meal and needed a refill a long time ago and never received his sides with his meal. Sad sad sad.

This is a hidden lil' gem in the Rio Grande Valley. I love the country Texas feel, and the home cooking they serve. It's a family-friendly restaurant with great food choices from All-American breakfast to delicious seafood. I like the choices of Mexican flavored sodas they have. They also come up with some wild selections like their cheetos cheeseburger.

The three star rating is based on the price and the service. The restaurant was very clean and we were greeted and seated immediately. The ambiance of "old Texas" was great. The décor and pictures were excellent. We had heard about Ann's and had to try it. We went on Friday night because the special was all you could eat fish. I expected the fish to be catfish. Turns out it was Alaskan Pollock. The preferred fish of fast food "fish sandwiches". It was hot from the kitchen along with the "frozen" fries. The Pollock was breaded and probably cooked straight from the freezer. It had little to no taste. Our server was great, but the fish was just not what we anticipated.

My husband and I saw that a few people had nothing but great things to say about this place, so we decided to try it. We got 2 Mexican burger COMBOS and a hot Cheeto and cheese COMBO for delivery. Pictures on Facebook and on Yelp looked promising so we were really looking forward to the food. The food came and NO SODAS, NO JALEPENOS, the avocado was BROWN, and the burgers came with toast on top of the burgers. So I called and they said they'd hate to lose a customer so when I get a chance or am around there just to pick up the 3 Mexican sodas "ON THE HOUSE" I fucking paid for them! Never again! Awful food and service, doesn't even deserve the one star
