I've been to this store before. They carry a lot of south Indian snacks and groceries. They also have a small kitchen in the back, where they make some items. I didn't inquire about that, mostly because I was walking around taking pics. We did order freshly made parotta--yummm. A lot of the snacks are also from a bakery nearby (which I visited separately)-- Aishwarya's bakery. There was a lot of plum and fruit cake stocked up all over (on tables, shelves, separate fixtures), not really in one particular area. There were also decorations laying around, not sure if they are for sale or actual store decorations that didn't go up. They sell freshly made snacks such as banana fry, neyyappam, bonda, samosa, etc. we grabbed a bonda to share. The staff are not overly friendly, but they are nice. There is parking available in front of the store. Would I return? For sure

Personally, I really love Indian/Pakistani cuisine and I cook it at home all the time, despite having no relational ties to India or Pakistan. Obtaining all the necessary ingredients is impossible from stores like H-E-B and Kroger, so you have to venture out to get it right. Right now, my favorite Indo-Pak grocery store is Ann's Grocers in Missouri City. Apparently they have another location in Stafford, but this location has been open for at least a year with no Yelp review, so I'm going to help them out here. The one thing that makes Ann's stand out is their amazing produce. It's always very fresh, and there are so many items to choose from. They have a great assortment of canned chutneys and sauces, unlike the other place nearby. Their assortment of spices and beans compare to other competing grocery stores. Their floor staff are knowledgeable about the products they carry; I was looking for jaggery and the guy stocking shelves pointed it out to me right away. There are lots of premade items in their freezers, if that's how you swing. All in all, this is fun place to shop, the people are friendly and helpful, and the produce is amazing, often cheaper and better quality than the big box grocery stores. Parking is easy here. If you live in the area, definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed.

I have found the main older gentleman at this Indian grocery store to be extremely professional when dealing with his clients on the phone and face to face. During the COVID19 Pandemic was when I found his professional and friendly person Amazing. His compassionate nature to addressing issues of products was very appreciated!!

The people at this store were very cold and rude and made it obvious they didn't want me in their store. I'll never go back and I've told every one I know about my experience.

Bought Duck roast. They cooked it without proper cleaning with the raw meat smell everywhere. Also, you can see duck skin all over with no taste. Complete waste of money, it's garbage. Avoid Ann's Grocers!

Clean and orderly Indian African grocery store. They also have vegetables, fresh fish and meats. Often they also have freshly made fried snacks- just like Kerala.
