Angelica's Mexican Restaurant

New to the area and looking for some good places to eat. Was on the way into town and decided to stop here for a quick lunch with my mom. Ambiance leaves little to be desired; random pictures hanging (pictures of ducks, mariachis, a random portrait of a young man, etc.), dirty ceiling, and fly strips throughout the restaurant, which I'm sure is a health code violation. Our server was nice, courteous and prompt with our drinks and food; that's about as good as it gets. The salsa was awful, tasted like ketchup with some black pepper in it, also had the consistency of ketchup. I ordered the bean and cheese nachos with onions, guacamole and tomatoes added and my mother had the shredded chicken taco salad. Everything was bland, which was very disappointing. The onions were terribly strong and made my eyes water. The cheese on my nachos was obviously very cheap and was a rubbery blob by the time it came to the table. Mom's salad was also bland, and a soggy mess which ruined the tortilla shell her salad was in. Overall, will not be back here, was not worth the money.

Not bad food. But, my waiter seemed bored and not too friendly. Ordered beef fajitas with a soda. Total was over$18 which I thought was kind of pricey.May be I caught them on an off day but There are too many other places to eat with better pricing

Delicious and didn't even know they had a drive through and were open until 9! They definitely have won our business from the chips to the enchiladas to the salsa and puffy tacos, wow, just so excited to have found such an outstanding Mexican restaurant!!

I love this place. I've never been disappointed when I go to eat there. My only complaint is when you call an order in or go through the drive through the ladies are rude and act like they absolutely hate their jobs. No personality no smile or even a thank you have a nice day!

Quick service, delicious food perfectly prepared and great prices! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food that comforts you like your abuela then come over here, you'll love it!

Best enchiladas in and Floresville food is good love the fajita nachos potato and egg tacos are the kids favorites like that I can also have a beer with my meal it's a bit pricey but I feel like it's worth it and when our favorite servers are in better

Great food. Plenty of room. Service is good the only issue I have here is they are the most expensive in town for the same mexican food you can eat elsewhere.

Great salsa but they use cheap, salty ingredients. Be forewarned they charge extra if you use a card. The food is good but not great and the restaurant has horrible parking.

Food was great. Service was amazing. Ambiance was very nice. We don't get out to Floresville often, but when we do, we stop and eat at Angelica's. We have always had amazing food there and will continue to stop in.

It's really hard to mess up TexMex but this was the worst I've ever had. Usually the green chicken enchiladas are the first thing I try at a new place. There was no flavor at all in the tomatillo sauce. Even with the cheese, no flavor. The rice is super salty and the refried beans taste like straight lard! Very disappointing!
