Alvarado's Tacos

Talk about getting the jackpot! When I stopped in at this restaurant, the please had zero reviews on Yelp. That is a serious role of the dice.From the outside, the place looks small and very rundown. My interest was piqued. When you walk in, the inside matches the outside. The menu is very small and is on a board behind the register. I stopped in at breakfast.time.A breakfast taco here will run you $1.50. Because of the cheap price, I ordered way more food than I needed. I was under the impression that the tacos would be very small. This was not the case at all. The tacos were very large and they tasted great. The tortillas tasted homemade very fresh.There are some cons about this place, but I will not penalize them in my rating. First, there was only one person working the entire place. She took orders and she did the cooking. Second, there was no heater and it was cold outside. To me, I can overlook these at a hole in the wall type of establishment.If you want some great tacos, this is your place!

Really great breakfast tacos! The owner makes all the food and she's really sweet, too. It's best to call ahead if you're in a hurry, because everything is made to order. It's worth it though.

Tried this place because we didn't want fast food on our road trip home, was TOTALLY WORTH IT! Outside seems sketchy but inside is like a little taqueria you'd expect in Mexico. Totally original, no texmex here. If your up for a challenge try the red hot sauce! Food was great, waitress was nice. Prices are low for authentic mexican food. They have Mexico Coca Cola (for those that want the good stuff)!

Bad service, worst I've ever encountered. Rude rude RUDE owner. Food isn't good very dry and they're never making what's on the menu.
