Yummm. So so good. I came to visit from California and had the Tacos Pirata yesterday. Today in the morning I came back for breakfast and had the Desayuno Veracuzano with the plantains on the side. Service was great and the food was fabulous.

I'm sorry to say this is ABSOLUTE WORST MEXICAN restaurant we have EVER BEEN TO IN LIFE! Started off w no greeting bad service and stale chips! This is mcallen, who gives stake chips at a Mexican Restaurant! This should have the warning to run but no we gave them the benefit of the doubt. They had the wrong day daily specials up the waitress saw us looking at them ordering off that menu on the wall and didn't bother to say anything, she never checked on us we had to get up to request hot sauce and refills. The worst spent 30 sum dollars of our life the portions were told cold and no flavor!!! My carne guisada must have been made from the oldest cow in the world tough. Old rice. Over priced soup no flavor all cheese. DONT BE FOOLED HERE the pics look nothing like the yelp pics. SAVE UR TIME And MONEY!!!!

Great service! Great food! Menu was all reasonably priced which allowed our table to order a lot of menu items to enjoy. Great breakfast menu and specials! Came in for pozole and was not disappointed. Will definitely recommend coming in for breakfast!

The place is comfortable and quaint. The service is subpar and the food is just ok, a bit too greasy for my taste. Also while I was eating a bum was harassing all the customers for money. Management shouldn't allow this. I won't be returning.

I absolutely love this place! They have excellent food and affordable prices! They provide a good variety on their daily lunch specials. The wait time for food is minimal, even during the lunch rush. The service is great, servers are friendly and respectful. The restaurant provides a warm welcoming environment. I highly recommend the "Pechuga de pollo a la plancha" with sautéed veggies and white rice for those that are looking for a healthy alternative. The chicken and veggies are so flavorful, you will not be disappointed!

I absolutely love this place!!! Great food, prices and service! The menu has tons of options. It is very cute inside and clean. Today i got the chorizo and egg, it was a good portion.. The only thing thats kinda weird is they use can sodas instead of fountain drinks. So for a refill you have to buy a another can. Other than that, i highly recommend this restaurant! :)

Super Delicious! I got the #4 special and my mom got the Veracruzano Bfast that had fried plantains with queso y crema! So Good the owner was very attentive and so was our waitress! Great food great environment! We loved it!
