I scheduled my truck to be serviced for 8am and by 2:00pm they won't even give me a status update on where it's at, no explanation. Just told me it's being looked at right now. I was the first one there this morning and still have zero clue what's going on. I'd understand if they gave me any info at all as to why but not to give me anything? Come on

Well, what can you say about car dealers. Yeah, for me, they normally rate right up there with lawyers, bankers and doctors. BUT, we had an EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant experience with Al Willeford in Portland that I can't let go without sharing.My wife had been looking for a new SUV. We looked at Ford equivalents and almost had a deal done with a Ford dealership. But, for whatever reason, they stopped calling us back so, fine!, we moved on. Found a comparable Chevy product and lo-and-behold, there was one in Portland! We went and looked and she fell in love.The task-at-hand was then talking with someone at the dealership. Well, we asked for a "quote" off of the Internet site we saw the vehicle (the one that gives you the "True Market Value" of what you should expect to pay - which is usually a couple THOUSAND dollars less than MSRP). As it turned out, the quote came back $200 LESS than that - all this WITHOUT even talking to ANYone!We then met Larry Berger, the Internet sales guy there at Al Willeford. If I ever buy another Chevy product, THIS is the guy and THIS is the dealership I will be going to. The whole experience was about as painless as it can be. They gave us a great deal on the trade-in, didn't do the usual "song-and-dance" with the manager. Overall, just nice folks. And a excellent buy!

I had this rated 4 stars but someone from the business posted that they are glad I felt my time was well-spent. It wasn't. And I was cheated out of $1079 worth of tires from this company. So I have edited to make it clear that there are some sketchy characters and do be careful should you choose Al Willeford. It's hard to rate this business because I had two extreme experiences. I drove in from an hour and a half away after communicating with a sales guy in the pre owned lot. I did everything that was passively suggested including calling my bank, buying new tires and taillights. Two weeks ago, I had been given a quote prior to fixing things and it was pretty low. I put $1500 into the things mentioned and when I went in yesterday, before I could even put my keys in my purse and sit down at the sales guys desk, I was told I'm "not getting any more for the truck". I said, "Okay thank you" about-faced and left. While at another dealership, he called offering $500 more. Too bad, dude, you already insulted me and took advantage of me. It wasn't long and I got an email from another guy I had been communicating with via Internet. He asked how things were and I vented to him. He was extremely patient and every time I asked him a question, he would go find the answer and call me back. That happened like 5-7 times. He was wonderful and made me feel heard and respected, like he wasn't out to insult or take advantage. He took time to help me and I ended up taking a $1000 loss and trading in and buying a car from him. I'm not sure I would go back to Al Willeford except to work with this guy. This review would have one star from me were it not for Mark. It's obvious why he was employee of the year for 2016. (I'm still wishing I'd left bad tires on my pickup and taken the lower price but what can you do?)If anyone is considering Al Willeford, check in with Mark in Portland and NOT the pre owned lot off of SPID. This was my first time purchasing from a dealer and it was an all day doozy!

I normally take our truck here for oil changes , the staff is very curtius and the service is good. But today I took the truck for and oil change and a power steering pump. I knew this would not be a cheap fix but the price i was quoted was Astronomical and just way over priced.838.00 for the psp and another 70.00 for the oil change. I took my truck to a Firestone on leopard st. And for both those services with a company we have used before is 444.00 !!!!!! More than double. Unacceptable Al Willeford has lost all my business...!! I only rate a 1 star because i can't do 0 stars

1. Change was stollen from my vehicle.2. DEF was splattered all over the side of my truck, the DEF Cap was not replaced back, just hanging there.3. Oil was spilled all over the engine compartment4. The incorrect service schedule was placed in the windshield, my vehicle takes oil change every 7,500 miles not 5,000 miles as indicated.**I felt like the Service Manager Brian Harrison did not feel that these issues were any big deal. I will not be returning to this dealer for future service.
