Perfect place to fill your belly after a long day of water activities in the Texas heat! The margaritas are PEREFECT. Everything you're looking for in a frozen margarita. Or if you choose, get a huge mug of draft beer to wash down your chips. Now I'm not one to get food that isn't the type of cuisine of the restaurant, however, my husband tested the chicken fried steak topped with Queso and pico, and both of us agree, it's the best chicken fried steak we've ever had. And that's saying a lot coming from two home-grown Texans. The batter is so perfectly light and crispy, steak tender, and the jalepenos on top add the perfect kick. My quesadillas and enchilada were perfectly satisfying, and overall, we left with me complaining I ate too much. When in New Braunfels, eat at Adobe Cafe.

So we were in the neighborhood so we had to stop and get my steak fajita quesadilla and hubby got the beef chimichanga this time. Well he said the beef was better than the chicken! He loved it. The only way they can improve our meals is to upgrade the chips and salsa. The chips were a little stale today. We love the drive through service for our to go orders.

I went here for the first time on Mother's Day and was pleasantly surprised. Although they were busy, food and drinks still came out quickly and high quality. Was impressed and took more family there the following weekend and they all loved it too. Steak quesadilla are probably the best ones I've ever had! Favorite Mexican in NB for sure!

We like this restaurant because their drinks are excellent and the food always good. Plus my sister likes their awards program. This visit we tried their grapefruit mex-tini, margarita strawberry, skinny margarita, fried mushrooms, pork carnitas, and tortilla soup. We will be back! On other visits we've ha their enchiladas, carnitas, and taquitos. If you're lucky enough get Audrey as your server, she's the best.

We were in NBTX from Dallas and looking for some good TexMex. Adobe Cafe did not disappoint! From the skinny margarita (so fresh!) to the tender beef fajitas to the in-house made cheesecake... we loved it all!! The servers and staff were very kind and attentive. Will definitely be back!

We had a fresh, quick lunch here. Despite a packed parking lot, we were seated right away. A pleasant server greeted us within minutes with fresh salsa and chips!We ordered a salad with fajita chicken as well as a combo platter with fresh warm tortillas. Food was very good and arrived quickly! Overall, very good standard Tex mex with quick service and reasonably priced. Restaurant had nice decor and was very clean.
