They do a FREE check. I knew I had a transmission leak because I kept having to add fluid. My truck was there for about 6 hours and they called and said they would have to open my transmission up to find out what the problem was. They classified my transmission fluid as "varnished" and asked me to authorize a $589 labor fee to open it up, and said that amount would go into any work done. I declined after many their many offers of financing and a "layaway" plan to pay off. It was just too much money for a 2001 Ford. I took it home, had a mobile mechanic come and give me an opinion and he quickly discovered the transmission fluid was mixing with the coolant due to a crack in the radiator. He replaced it and flushed the system easily, all for hundreds dollars less than just their labor fee. I wouldn't take my vehicle here again.

I would really like to say thank you to the staff at this particular location. A special shout out to shawn as well. I brought my car in while visiting home and my transmission was acting up. they took very good care of me and got my extended warranty company to cover the whole thing which was a plus. I highly recommend them for any type of work you need to do with your car. Thanks again guys!

If I could give negative reviews if I could. Save your money and take your car else where. Brought my car running with a check engine light on to not even being able to drive it off the property.

I had very bad experience with Daniel . I first brought in my truck to have it looked at due to 4th and 5th gear not working. I was told by Daniel that it need a new rebuild and would take 4-5 days. Within 2 weeks I still did not have my transmission and was told by Ernie that the truck was experiencing the same issue not going into 4th and 5th gear. I was told a different story by daniel and that that they caused the issued by breaking other parts of my truck and that I should be greatful that they fixed the issue and Daniel did not care that they took more than 3 weeks to fix my truck. I was also told by Daniel that he had replaced all of the senors they they broke on Friday and would be ready within the hour. He notified me same day that the sensors were not in fact ordered and would take another week. inasked for the old parts so I could have them inspected and was told 3 different stories 1st was that they through my old parts away 2nd then that I could have them only after I paid for the old parts and 3rd was that he wouldnt give them to me. I asked to speak to owner to share my experienc and was told he would call me when truck was ready and did not happen. i beleive Daniel overlooked the original problem and went straight into rebuild without looking into original problem costing me many thousands of dollars over a simple fix, took longer than expected costing me thousands in lost work and told many different stories about why my truck wasn't fixed. I do not recommend going to this particular AAMCO as I have good experiences with other AAMCO's in the past and very distrustful of Daniel.

Daniel answered my call. Very knowledgeable and professional. Me, 72 year old Vietnam Veteran which he quickly thanked me for my service and informed me I would get a veteran discount. Mopar says not to service my 8HP70 transmission since it is good for the life of the transmission. Experience has shown me why it should be serviced. Daniel quickly verified the required parts and the required transmission fluid. He greeted me at the door and I knew I was in good hands. Almost 90,000 miles on a Hemi 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4X4 which I take very good care of. Now I will feel safer in my upcoming trip to California.Thank you Daniel for showing me the old pan and fluid. Naturally there were metallic particles visible in the fluid, on the 4 magnets and the filter had seen better days. I am feeling more content going thru this transmission servicing. Heat is a transmission's worse enemy and after 8 years 90,000 miles it will be great to have this additional comfort knowing it has now been serviced.I already knew that a complete flush is not recommended and Daniel agreed. Specs are8HP70 8 Speed Automatic Transmission capacity is 8.8 quarts. Replacing the pan and gasket will take approximately 6 quarts. The 1/3 old mixed with 2/3 new will provide major benefits all with a new filter and new clean magnets.

Brought in my brother in law's car which had a Aamco transmission overhaul in Houston and was leaking. This location didn't hesitate to honor the warranty. They had to get approval from Houston but after a few days they took care of the problem for no charge. Good communication and service

We were on our way to South Padre for vacation and our A/C started acting up. I called Daniel and he took great care of us. Fortunately, it was something minor. They got it fixed and we were on our way with only a minor delay. Thanks to Daniel and his staff for their honesty and superior service!

They wanted $2195.00 for a th350 bench job rebuild.That means, I take the transmission out of my car, give it to them, they rebuild it, give the transmission back to me, and I install it myself.Check it out on the internet, th350's are going for about 950 bucks on Jegs and Summit racing. 2195! And I believe that comes with NO WARRANTY since I would install it myself.Seriously? Granted they were nice guys... Give me 2200 bucks and I would kiss your tail all the way to the bank. Oh, btw- they gave me my tranny back in pieces. I mean, completely disassembled. They told me they would charge me if they put it back together.AVOID at all costs.

My car was having problems shifting gears. I took it to AAMCO and Daniel the manager was real helpful. He figured out what the problem was and save me a lot of money. Turned out it was only a sensor and I did not need a new transmission. Bless you Daniel!

What a business, i got my vehicle fluids checked for free , i told daniel to check for leaks on a specific item . And he says ( who cares about that ) . Seriously.... i spent alot of money to get the trans fixed when it came out as the same price as my other vehicle's trans from G.M factory and it is 4×4 too. Terrible customer service. Took my vehicle home and it was low on oil, not to mention my power steering was empty. I regret going there. I honestly dont know how this business gets good reviews? Just to post this message i have to rate. Unreal
