5D Grill & Lounge

Busy place! Nice big bar in the middle of the building. First thing you see when you walk in. Nice music playing. I had chicken strips with onion rings and a side salad. I really thought these rings were going to be super crunchy. I was let down. They tasted good but I wanted that crunch factor. Chicken strips were good and the sauce was tasty. They forgot my salad but it was okay cause I took it back to the hotel, along with my leftover strips and made a salad the next day. Colleagues got fried catfish plate. She said it was good. The other one for the salad and for an additional $2 added a 5 oz (I believe) steak. The add one were like crazy wow. Salmon, chicken, steak and ?? Forgot one for $2-$3. They had some nice adult drink specials that I wish I could have tried. . . $2 margaritas. . . yes. . . wish I could have Our server was super friendly and helpful. She was very attentive.

We ordered the catfish, pat melt, country fried steak and the salmón plate. The salmon with the asparagus were extremely salty. We returned the plate. The country fried steak had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The rice was not that great either, lacked a lot of flavor. Super bland! They exchanged the plate and brought one with asparagus still super salty and cold. Salmon was better now. Their mashed potatoes were good, but they need to improve on seasoning and texture. I don't know if I'll be coming back, asked waitresses for a refill and got ignored. It's unlikely we'll come back. I do NOT recommend this place.

Steak was delicious! Service was great. The restaurant has expanded quite a bit, I would return again!

The ambiance is country style, service it depends who you get ...sometimes it's horrible and other times is awesome or it could be the time frame you go. As far as the food it's amazing and very tasty. I just go for the food but can't have it all in live

of the few Restaurant/ bars open all day in this small town. It's a local favorite.Unfortunately the staff behaves as though they know that you don't have many other choices The service is slow, restrooms are dirty and food is OK.What makes this a great hang out is the bar area and the Local folks are awesome and super friendly. Had some great conversations in the few days that I was there.If they would just clean the place up and act with a sense of urgency this would be a really good spot.

Great steak house with all sorts of other items like stuffed flounder! ( which was really good ), Salmon (grilled over a salad was delicious), Shrimp dishes chicken dishes, salads ... so many to pick from. Really fantastic service. We had a group of over 20 there and they never missed a beat. Great service really. Very sweet people. They took care of us. Thank you so much 5D, great job!

Came here in a business trip and stumbled onto this place. Great attentive staff. They have a varied selection of fiod items. I wish I'd taken the time to read further down the menu instead of selecting the first thing I wanted. While my food was great, good balance of flavors; I ordered the shrimp wrap. I wish I had instead ordered the stuffed flounder. That'll have to be on my next trip. Also, the drinks sound pretty cool. I ordered a jalapeño margarita but switched it up with Don Julio tequila instead of the Jose Cuervo- delicioso

Definitely recommend stopping here, our steaks were so tender we could cut them with our fork! We sat at the bar and had 2 different bartenders tending to us so we didn't have to wait for anything.

Order food and it takes an hour to get chips and salsa, two hours in and we finally get our meal. I got the shrimp tacos which was cold and horrible. Asked for dipping sauce for the coco shrimp and couldnt even get that. Had a friend get a steak...from a place that is a steak house and they still messed it up. Asked for a medium rare and got rare with cold sides. The only thing that was decent was the beer which they did not make. Was hoping for a place in the middle of nowhere Texas to be good...but it was straight garbage.

I ordered my ribeye medium, and it came out well done with zero seasonings on it. I had to add salt, it was also very tough like leather. I asked for A1 saws and they gave me God knows what because it sure didn't taste like A1 and it tasted rotten. The grilled shrimp were freaking delicious and so were the sweet potato fries. Salad and ranch was also delicious. I ordered my food to go, the staff was polite.
