Great food , the service was outstanding, she help us out immensely, we sat outside, it was great, I highly recommend this place.

The girlfriend was craving crepes so we came on down to CornerStone Cafe. It's a very cute cafe located off Clybourn. Initially, when I saw the prices I was a little concerned because I feel like $19 a plate is on the higher end of brunch spots but when it came out I understood why. The portions are HUGE. Not only that, they are delicious too. Our service was wonderful the whole time and very attentive as well. I think we will be coming back here often.

My boyfriend and I visited CornerStone the morning after a wedding and it was the perfect place to heal up after a night of drinking and dancing. Despite it being a Sunday morning, we didn't wait too long (maybe 15 mins) for a table and our food came out pretty quick too. Our waitress and the hostess were both efficient and very friendly. Food was classic American breakfast food with large portions and great taste! I would also say the prices were very reasonable and they even had a bowl of dumdums at the front just like any great breakfast place would have!

The food was ok, nothing special. The coffee was very good though. Presentation is poor. The service is flat, slow and my husband's egg Benedict came out 15 min after the rest of our family. The ambiance needs help. When I'm in Chicago, I wouldn't go back.

The food was good. The service was good but the waiter asked some questions that were interesting to say the least lol. It's very cute and cozy. Great for breakfast and lunch. The cubs won while we were there and everyone was watching and happy so that really added to the experience.

Had the corned beef hash skillet. It was amazing. Would definitely go back for more.

Yummy food in a very casual cafe!My bf and I went here for brunch, and they had a massive menu, so plenty of options for everyone! They had vegetarian options, which is what I stuck to. I got the basil omelette which has ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, and basil in it. It was delicious but very heavy. It also made for good leftovers. It came with hash browns and a choice of a side, which I chose the French toast. Service was solid and quite fast. I drink a lot of water, especially since I went here after a workout and they made sure my water was never empty!This is one of those places like a diner where they give you the bill and then you pay at the register by the front.

Tables. Chairs. And a tough of nostalgia.The food was fantastic. The chicken pot pie greets you as you enter - it's The CornerStone's signaty plate. It does not disappo. A thin, yet sturdy, golden crust covers the bowl edges. Underneath is all that chicken goodness. Nothing but "mmmm" being heard with every bite. A momentary smile punctuated with "this is good". Then back to the food.Anything more you need to know?The menu is extensive with so many choices. I chose an Oreo shake that was quite good. I gave a small regret that I didn't look over my shoulder to see that they serve apple, cherry, and key lime pie. My sister and mom took home the latter. It was gone as soon as we got home.I can't wait to go back to try the other offering!

I love the variety this place has to offer with it having smoothies, eggs Benedict and stuffed French toast. The customer service was great! Quickly greeted upon entering, accommodating, they even called to make sure they had the order right. I eat clean, local, organic. I'm a foodie so the food was what was lacking. The hash browns tasted bland like water and metal. The Benedict tasted like bacon which I'm sure so many people love but I'm vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian Benedict. I wouldn't mind the sub par food if the prices weren't so high. Other restaurants have better quality food, higher quality atmosphere for less.

Food was great, the workers were nice, our food came out quick and all together, the inside smelled amazing and the seats were comfortable. Can here for lunch and got a gyros sandwich and it was the best one I ever had also had a vanilla shake and it tasted pretty good.
