Tasty food, excellent service! We came here for lunch on a weekend lunch and the ladies working here were above and beyond nice.Both the pad Thai and pad see ew were great. Definitely would come back for the weekday lunch special or to try other items on the menu. The large Thai tea with boba was HUGE (like a beer mug size). Their tea with the star shaped jellies were also very tasty.

Corner Thai is a hidden gem nestled in the Grantville area of SD. I went to the restaurant for a work lunch one afternoon and absolutely loved it. I thought maybe it was delicious because I was hungry that day. Wrong! I got a large takeout order today with several different items and it still hit hard. Corner Thai is now easily my favorite Thai joint in SD. Take it from a dude that was in Thailand a mere two months ago. They have legit Thai dishes.

Decided to try somewhere new today and happened to be out in the Grantville area. Went to the Corner Thai Kitchen and was very happy with my experience. Service was great, friendly and fast. I ordered a small Thai Iced Tea with Boba and Chicken Pad Thai medium spicy. Food was delicious and the perfect spice. The Thai Iced tea was also good. I will definitely be back even though I live in Point Loma.

Ordered to go and food couldn't have been more delicious!Order:Drunken noodles mild spicy w shrimp.Whole Fried Fish with side of ginger sauce .Sweet rice w/mango Homemade lemonade I liked absolutely everything I ordered- very flavorful, not greasy nor salty and mild spicy was on MILD just as expected:) - it had the perfect spicy mild kick . My only complaint is that 7 shrimps are not enough protein to balance the drunken noodle carbs. I placed my order through yelp upon opening this past Saturday ( memorial weekend) and order was ready within a reasonable amount of time . I am sure I was there first customer of the day or second because someone else stopped to pick up an order while I was waiting for mine. I definitely recommend you try what I ordered :) just ask for extra protein on your noodles at an extra charge , of course.

I'm really sad I only have pictures from one of my visit because I've been here twice so just listen when I say trust me bro. This place is SO good. I ordered the basics the first time around including tofu pad thai, tom kha, and som tum. I wanted to try the curry puffs but unfortunately they were sold out that night. Oh well, my life is meaningless anyways. Moving on, the som tum was perfectly spicy and flavorful. I ordered medium spicy thinking it would be okay and it did leave a bit to be desired for me, but I also love spicy food so ignore that part if you're not a heat fiend. It's served with a large chunk of cabbage which I'm never really sure if you're supposed to eat or not, so I don't. The tom kha is always a favorite, and I love the coconut milk creaminess to the savory chicken lemongrass broth. I am drooling just typing this. This serving was individual and I'm glad it was because if I had ordered the large I couldn't eat anything else. The pad thai was excellent, it was missing the lime the first time but I still survived. Now, the second time I came I ordered the curry puffs and let me tell you, I understand why they sell out and why they were so highly recommended to me. They were delicious and airy curry bites with a sweet chili sauce on the side. I tried the tom yum this time and it was good but still pales in comparison to the tom kha. Parking as per usual in San Diego, sucks. This lot gets crazy busy at nights and on weekends as there as many many restaurants in the same plaza. The actual restaurant itself is easy to find as it's on the corner (heyo) with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The booths are super comfy and they seat on a first come first serve, and I say this as a solo diner who has claimed a whole booth ahead of a family (I'm sorry [worth it]).

Thai food will hit every time! I ordered - CHEESEY CRAB APPETIZER: This came with 4, it was soooo filling & delicious.SHRIMP PAD SEE EW: I get this at every Thai spot and it was delicious! The spice level ranges from 1-10 and the waitress said 4 was a medium but if you like spice I would go for a 5-6. THAI BBQ PORK: My husband ordered this & enjoyed it! He said the pork was a bit dry but the flavor was good.HOT SAKE: Good size & affordable. CUSTOMER SERVICE / OVERALL EXPERIENCE: The service was amazing. The waitress was super sweet I wish I got her name. I will definitely be back :)

Corner Thai took over the previous Thai establishment and I actually like this place better. Their menu is huge! Mainly Thai dishes with a mix of Lao, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. We came for dinner and a few days later came for lunch during 11-3pm. They also have happy hour from 3:30-6pm. Has patio seating and 6 tables inside. We've ordered:-curry puffs -mixed tempura-orange chicken-pad Thai (spice level 5)-crab fried rice (spice level 7)-Panang curry-garlic wings-beef pad see ew lunch (spice level 7)-combo drunken noodles lunch (level 7)Pad Thai and crab fried rice are always our go to when it's our first time dining. Both dishes had great flavors but too wet, almost soggy. Great crab portions. We took it home and dried it out a bit and it tasted excellent.The lunch special came with a side of soup of the day, salad, egg roll and cream cheese wonton. Great portions.Overall, Corner Thai was decent except the wings had a smell to it like freezer burn fried in oil. The flavor and texture also lacking.Spice level 7 seems to be the right mark for me giving that kick at the end where you could still taste the flavors.

So i ordered the lunch special red curry beef with no bamboo shoots extra eggplant. Got back to work they got it wrong had bamboo shoots 3 pieces of beef only and the rest pork and shrimp. I' m allergic to shrimp. I called them to let them know said they need me to bring it back to show proof it was wrong to get a credit. Im at work already and you messed my lunch up now i have to bring it back to show proof for a credit?I work over 15hrs a day, i don't have time to bring food back to get a credit for your mistake. This is such a inconvenience for me. I come to this place regularly even before when it was King Thai not any more, last time. Need to work on your customer service.
