Schmeers of Corner on the Market. I'll have the Hatch Green please! I actually had plain cream cheese on my blueberry bagel.

First timers- great service by Alexis and Owner/chef Kathy. All food/pastries made on site. Will be back to try the pizza. There are a few booths and large tables to sit while you enjoy your food or you can order ahead. PS for dog lovers, I was even able yo pick up some fresh doggy treats.

What a neat local find!! Wonderful freshly baked breads, pastries, bagels, sandwiches, salads and pizza! Connected to Hatch-It Chili next door and it appears that the green chili on the breakfast sandwich I ordered came from Hatch-It! Breakfast sandwich with house made sausage, egg, green Chile and mustard was basically 2 meals' worth of food! And SO delicious. Definitely ordering that on repeat. Also had their mixed green salad, which was big enough to share with hubby. Speaking of hubby, he ordered the BLAT (BLT w/avocado) and even thought he meant to take half of it home, he ended up eating the entire thing. He also got a chocolate chip hibiscus cookie, which he said was really tasty too. Staff was very sweet and attentive. The lady who brought out my sandwich mentioned that the sausage is house made, delicious and pink--it is fully cooked, it's just not brown, like most sausage patties we may encounter. I'm not sure I would have noticed, b/c I only paid attention to how well all the flavors worked together! It's very low key and relaxed in Corner on the Market. There is a selection of alcohol, cheeses, cream cheese spreads and more that I need to return to check out. Also, pizza is served for lunch and dinner! So many reasons to return!

I met Corner on the Market's owner Kathy when we asked if we could hold our Thursday Sip and Chat here. Tuck that factoid away.Because shortly after our introduction Cliff the Baker waltzed by with a fresh baked pecan pie, offering me a slice before 10 AM. I told Cliff I never do insulin shots before 1 pm. Pecan pie is not at the top of my pie list. No report on pecan pie here. Hold that pie thought.Kathy, her daughter Kelly, Cliff Cliff the Pieman, Charles the Bagelman, Savannah Bread Lady, and a cast of others put the spirit in this establishment.Kathy wants "Corner" to represent small, independent food and beverage industry companies, while baking great padtries, pies, breads and bagels.Fannie May came in during our firsr Sip and Chat. Like myself, she's put in a few laps around the sun. I think Jimi Hendrix may have written "Foxy Lady" for her in her prime. You've heard of Hendix, Yes? You'vrle heard Foxy Lady, Yes?Fanny May's cup of life definitely runneth over. At her roots she's Western, Coloradan and raised by women her equal. Fanny May had a serving of peach cobbler and was transported to her grandmother's table. Then she wanted sime cold, fresh cream to poyr over it.. Sorry girl, no milk cow out back. She took 2 /3 hime to heat in the microwave and cover w8th ultrpasteurized half and half.Today I can address only my blueberry bagel, drip coffee, baguette with olive oil and black and white cookie. Because the sun set and rose again on this review, I will write of baguette only. Kelly sliced it for us. Slighyly crunchy crust, perfectly baked, tender textured dough. Kelky slso provided a generous servung of real butter. My mouth was singing "Foxy Baguette accompanied by woo hoo woo hoo in my gray matter guitar. We're coming back because Thursday 2-4 pm is Lal Fernando's Sip and Chat where great food supports great conversation and The Baha'i Faith may be mentioned. A support group with bagels and a Hatch Chile schmeer.

This place is amazing!! They have coffee, pastries, sandwiches, salads etc.. they have it all. It's also attached to Hatch Green chili! We got an iced latte, chicken salad sandwich and a pistachio muffin. Oh and some fresh baked treats for the pups! The latte was made perfect. No butter taste and perfectly sweet. The pistachio muffin was big, fluffy and full of flavor. We really enjoyed it with the coffee. Now, the chicken salad sandwich was the star for me! If you know my reviews you know I love a good Sammie. The chicken salad had green chilies in it which I've never had and I'm mad that I've been robbed of such a delight. I got it on the cranberry walnut bread and it was heaven. The customer service was quick and friendly and the food and coffee was amazing. I will definitely be back soon to try out more of their sandwiches and other foods. I'm confident anything from there is amazing!

This place is hands down incredible. The food is top quality. The flavors are all southwest/New Mexico the lady who was there in the early morning is an absolute sweetheart. It's definitely worth a try even to go out of your way. The prices are decent for the quality of the food. They make freak pizzas , incredible looking home made pop tarts and cakes of course they also have sandwiches for lunch and coffee. I'm definitely coming back.

Corner on the Market is a wonderful little family eatery, full of amazing home baked goods, delicious entrees, sandwiches and treats. I went here with my son for breakfast. I had the breakfast plate, and it was stellar. The homemade sausage was large, amazingly moist and perfectly spiced. The sourdough toast was perfect. The shredded fried potatoes were both crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were cooked just right. We both also indulged in scones for our visit. This was a homerun. My blueberry scone was the perfect blend of soft baked, puffy lightness, juicy blueberries and sweet and glorious drizzled icing to accent the monstrous scone. My son had an almond scone which was likewise really delightful. To top it off, we had a chai latte and coffee from their barista. Nice to have custom coffeehouse drinks at a restaurant. Before leaving we bought an extra scone to take home, along with a couple loves of their beautiful whole homemade round loves of bread. Wow.The staff was helpful, kind and very fast. The prices were also very reasonable. The inside of the restaurant reminds me of a market in the south with small market stock to purchase and a delicious restaurant combined.Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area!
