Corleone’s Philly Steaks

I'm not really want to get stuff off food trucks a whole lot but I've seen advertisements for Corleone's a couple of times and I was in the neighborhood and figured I'd drop by. The environment was fine parking lot was clean and Corleone's is in a RV maintained by a gentleman who is very courteous and took my order and processed it without problem. The food itself was really good. The meat was very tasty and juicy and so are all the fixings which are the peppers and mushrooms and onions. The fries were nice and crispy and well done so no complaints about this stop and it was a good experience. If you're in the neighborhood of 51st Avenue and Bell Road go ahead and give him a shot.

I ordered through UberEats for pickup. I got there a few minutes early and waited patently. Eventually I was acknowledged and my order was ready 10 minutes after the original estimated pickup time. The fries were exceptionally tasty, seasoned and freshly fried. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was a miss, in every aspect. The sandwich was barely warm, arguably room temperature, the steak was chewy and had bits of gristle, and the bread wasn't great at all. I love bread but not this one. I threw away a little over half of the bread. The ratio of meat to bread was little meat to lots of bread. The cheese whiz was served room temperature. Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I like my Philly cheesesteak sandwiches to be served hot. The only redeeming experience of my whole order was the fries. Those are definitely worth the $4 side charge. I kind of think the sandwiches must've been done on time and cooled off while waiting for the fries. Idk for sure that's what happened, but the fries were hot and the sandwiches were not even warm. I added a star for the fries and another star because this food truck seems new and I don't want to tank the ratings, but there's no way for me to justify 4 stars or more at this moment. I would be willing to give the guy another chance, but I wasn't impressed with my first visit.
