Copper Mule Kitchen & Bar

A group of my girlfriends came here for a girls night and we sat at a high top near the bar. The inside is small but a great location away from all the busy areas so it's not too crowded. In a Friday night at prime time we easily had a table, which is great since they don't take reservations! To drink I had one of their cocktails, I forgot the name but it was orange and on the sweet side. It was super good and I recommend. For dinner I had the lemon pepper grilled chicken that was super juicy and well seasoned. It wasn't too heavy and the portion was perfect. I was able to eat my whole meal satisfied without wasting food! It came with these glazed and Parmesan crusted Brussels sprouts that were super flakey and some brown sugar carrots. The carrots were nice and soft and had a great flavor. Everyone's meal looks fabulous! The prices were right in the range they should be and the menu was expansive with options for everyone. Would definitely visit again!

While the food is excellent, I do not find the owners to be very friendly almost to the point where it seems like they have lost interest in the business.The burgers and salads are especially delicious. However I would like the owners to be a bit friendlier and engaging. Maybe they need a vacation as they seem Burnt out and disinterested . It's a shame to witness this because it's one of my favorite local spots.

We did the Mule last night for dinner. The restaurant interior is well appointed, modern, and clean. I was immediately greeted by our friendly server/bartender. The bartender was really friendly and had very little experience making cocktails, but he made up for that with personality. The cocktails were measured and small but well designed and balanced.Our food came out fast and was well executed. I felt that the appetizer portions were on the small side. We had the eggs and the caprese skewers. If your sharing, figure one appetizer per person. My steak salad was very good and a decent value at $18. My wife's salmon was cooked properly and well seasoned. We thought the asparagus side was the best bite of the evening. My phone was dead, so no pics.The restaurant was pretty empty on a Tuesday at 6PM. There were only two other covers. I think they need a Happy Hour food program and also need to loosen up on the pours to drive some traffic. The food is very good, but I want to see some more value in the cocktails and appetizers to make it a regular stop.

Place was packed when we arrived due to entertainment that evening so had to sit at the bar. Bartender was great & very welcoming! Excellent mules & drink selection. Food was mediocre, Brussels sprouts had too much grease and vinegar, chicken breast was a bit dry and overcooked, baby carrots had no flavor. Turkey sandwich was not anything to brag about & was cold, would much prefer a hot turkey burger on the menu instead. Fries were very hot & crispy but the dish was full of oil at the bottom so left a bunch in the dish that were sitting in it. Maybe a paper or cone type holder to drain that off would be a good suggestion. Overall, ok but with all the options out there for places to eat , won't go back.

We were all craving fish and chips today, after visiting Old Man Con, Scottsdale Comic Book Show. After viewing Yelp reviews we decided to stop in @coppermuleaz on the way home. All four of us ordered the Cactus Valley Fish & Chips We ordered Hatch Green Chile Queso & Chips to startI ordered a Dark & Stormy Mule. It seemed wrong not to at a spot named the Copper Mule. Everyone enjoyed the fish and chips. These are the good kind of fries!! And after sprinkling some @heinz Malt Vinegar on top, I ate them all. Yumm! The fish had a great flavor and was nice, flaky, and moist. Clean oil was used. The tartar sauce was more of a mild yogurt dill type of sauce. It didn't have the sour pickle taste of the usual tartar sauce. The coleslaw was a nice mild, basic slaw. My Dark and Stormy Mule had a strong lime flavor with a very light ginger aftertaste. A solid and satisfying lunch for the family! Service was great here as well. A server was being trained while we were there so we were checked on a lot and wanted for nothing.

As we walked in, it had a little less 'dining aura' than we were expecting and we wondered if we should stay but I'm so glad we did! Rita served us wonderfully. She was very helpful with the menu and letting us know patron's favorites. I chose the slow roasted pork street tacos with brussel sprouts as my side. You can choose corn or flour tortilla and I chose corn. My meal was delicious. Three small tacos accompanied the sprouts, which were served with parm cheese and crispy bacon. So good!Family loved their meals as well, fish and chips, short ribs, and short ribs street tacos. Meat was tender and flavorful. We literally ate everything on our places except for a bit of cole slaw. I liked that everyone was able to chose any side. We started with traditional wings which were crispy outside with moist chicken inside. Yumm. Also the house mule was a perfect way to compliment the meal. Great stop!!

Great low key place that had a good bar, drinks and specials. Service is great and has lots of outdoor seating. The apps, brunch and dessert were tasty and delicious. There was plenty of seating and we didn't have to wait.I would definitely come back. Good place to try.

We finally tried Copper Mule today. It has very casual look, friendly service, good food and reasonable prices.We tried deviled eggs for starters - flavorful! My husband thoroughly enjoyed fish & chips. I had Steak salad - it was delicious and fresh. We'll definitely be back!

I had been looking forward to coming here for a while. I went to Happy Hour one night and got the fried olives and a mule.The mule was non-distinct, I think it was peach,Just sweet and syrupy. Olives were okay. Typical bar fare, definitely not someplace for a foodie.
